We got up and went to the temple with Lynn today. We did our usual and got 45 sealings, 3 endowments and 15 initiatory. Not a bad days work for our ancestors. Happy to do it.
When we finished, it was 1:30 and 2:15 by the time we got back to Nampa. Tony had more Ministering interviews coming at 3 and 3:30 so we had to eat lunch fast. So, of course, we went to Chick Fil A!!
Are you surprised! lol I thought not!
They had pretty Holiday flowers on the table AND.....
SANTA was there!! I loved his authentic clothing! It was beautiful BUT, he needs to put on a little weight. lol I was scrambling to get my phone out to take his picture and he said:
"Let's do a selfie"!!! lol I was thrilled!
What a cool Santa!! He made my day!!
We came home and Tony's interview Brethren showed up. While they were here, I got a text from Lorraine (one of my sister's I minister to. Ava, her sister just got home from the hospital and she wanted to know if Tony would come over and give her a blessing. I told them we would come over as soon as his last Brother left. As Brother Brown and Brother Francis were leaving, Brother Brown said "I've been in a lot of homes at Christmas and I've NEVER seen one more Christmasy than yours! That comment and the one Brother Anderson made on Sunday, that my house was "MAGICAL", made me feel good! We got to the apartment complex and I noticed a text from Lorraine saying that the Paramedic was there setting up the equipment for Ava and could we come when he was finished. So, we went up to Melissa's and delivered their Christmas gifts because they leave tomorrow for Mexico for the holidays. How fun is that!!
Her new home is absolutely gorgeous and her Christmas tree is so festive!! Love the decorations.
Melissa took a selfie after we left and posted it, so naturally, I stole it! lol Wished I'd looked that good in my selfie with Santa! lol They gave us a really cool cast iron pan with handles that Nathan polished and the inside is smooth and looks like a shiny metal.
Can't wait to use it. We hurried back to the Taylor sister's apartment and Tony gave Lorraine a really nice blessing. They are the sweetest ladies and I worry about their health. While Lorraine was sick earlier in October, she made me this lovely stitched picture.
We are finally relaxing and watching the Voice Finals!
