Oh it has been busy and I love it!! KIND OF!! lol It does get to be a bit overwhelming sometimes but "TIS THE SEASON"!!
Last Saturday, after our Temple shift, we hurried home and I made a chicken salad, for Sunday, because I had friends coming from California. Then we went back to the temple to do baptisms with Liz. Her 1st time to be in the temple and it was wonderful! The Sister Missionaries showed up to support her as well and it was a great experience.
She hurried off to a Christmas party with her Rock Hounding friends. We went home and got ready for Sunday. I made some rice Krispie cups and some brownies to go along with the Chicken Salad Croissant Sandwiches.
Sunday, we had to be at church at 8:30 for choir practice. We performed our Christmas program and it was beautiful. It was a week early because we needed Lorna there and she was leaving for North Carolina the day after. Then Sunday after church, Tony had several Ministering Interviews to do. Lorna came over and gave us a TEXAS ROAD HOUSE gift card and said goodbye. She will be gone till next summer. Tammy and Chris and the boys came over and gave us this beautiful bouquet for Christmas.
It goes with all my red and green!! lol
Then Traci and the girls came to borrow my sewing machine and it was so good to see them!Such pretty women!
They were not here long and the Gleason's showed up just as they were leaving. I went outside with them and took a picture before they drove off. Hope I see them again soon!
The Bostrom's came shortly after the Gleasons and we ate and played Mexican Train. The Bostrom's left right after the 1st round. They were going to THE GIVING MACHINE and to listen to the Tongan Choir sing. Then it was the four of us and we had a wonderful time visiting and playing games. They want to move back to Idaho.
Denise is so SUPER TALENTED!! She made me a beautiful potholder and two hand towels that she sublimated the design on.
I absolutely love them. We have so much fun together. They stayed from 5 to 9:30 and then we said our goodbyes and off they went. We went to bed. Monday, we went to the gym on our own. Pat was at the dermatologist and it was a long appointment. She sent me a text and said to go without her. She didn't think she would feel very good after the appointment. Then Monday night, we picked up Lynn and went to Scotlyn's Christmas Concert. It was so good! Ridgeview has such a good music program.
Scotlyn looked lovely. She laughed at the picture. She said it's exactly how she looked last year in the picture her dad took of her. She's definitely paying attention to the conductor. lol
