I just thought these pictures from Snap Chat depicted how I was feeling about the whole thing!
Anyway, I went in and had it done. The nurse said my blood pressure was a little high! I said "WELL YEAH, I'm just a little nervous about this whole thing!" ... She told me what was going to happen and got me ready and it really wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. lol I had myself worked up for nothing!
The doctor said I had some polups in my bladder but nothing to worry about and the urine test came back with a little blood in it but significantly a lot less than before.
I'm Getting BETTER!! Now to MSTI today to hopefully get put on a drug other than Prednisone!!
I went to MSTI and saw Dr. Swerdloft and he went over the CT scan with me. He sais everything looks good and is pretty much back to normal. NOW, to maintain .....
I am to take the prednisone every other day for a week and then I will be off it completely. He is then starting me on Tomaxifin
(a cancer drug) He said there is so little known about the disease I have and so they have not come up with a better drug to maintain the inflammation. He said this one seems to be the best thus far. There are side effects: ie: hot flashes, mood swings, weight gain, and 1 in 1000 get uterine cancer!! I told him I was the ONE in 200,000 to get the sclerosing mesenteritus so I'd be the lucky one to get the uterine cancer!! He just smiled at me!
ANYWAY, I am getting better!
