YAY!! I'M GETTING BETTER !~

I just got a call from Doctor Page (the gastrologist)   He got the results from my CT scan that I had done yesterday. He said everything is looking good and back to normal.  He asked if I had another appointment with Dr. Swerdloff, the oncologist and I said I am scheduled to see him next Wednesday. He said good.  (Not sure why, but I do know that I really liked Dr. Swerdloff....he has a great sense of humor!)  AND, he was the one who went over the previous CT scan with me when no one else did.  So I suppose he will do the same at this appointment.

I asked Dr. Page if I can reduce the prednisone again. He told me I can go down to 10 milligrams but no less until I see Dr. Swerdloff.  He said he will discuss the medication I will be going on to maintain.  I will be SO HAPPY TO GET OFF THIS DRUG!!!  He asked me if the diuretic helped and I told him yes, my feet are back to normal but now I am getting Charlie Horse cramps in my hands and feet and legs. Another side effect!!  Gah!!
Anyway, things are improving and I'm feeling better than I have in a long time.  I'm sleeping longer each night too. NOW,  I've got to see if I can get more exercise and take off the weight I've gained over the past 3 months.  So sick of this "Puff Face/Moon Face" caused by the drug and hope the next one they put me on doesn't have a bunch of adverse side affects.

Seriously!!  This is how I feel.   (Gotta love SnapChat) lol  However, it's not far from being an actual picture of my fat face and double chin.  Hopefully, it will start to shrink soon. I am sleeping so much better.... as a matter of fact, I didn't want to get up this morning at 6AM!  YAY!
