DINNER AND A MOVIE !~

My dear sweet Heather gave me a groupon for Mother's Day this year and we just now used it !~ Life has been so busy and with me being ill for part of it, .... well, we just didn't get to it. It was for a restaurant in downtown Boise called Asiago's. Tony called and made reservations for this past Saturday. Donna Lipsh wanted to go to the movie Sully with us so I called her and asked her if she could join us. She had a photo shoot and a dinner date with the family she was taking pictures of, so she told us to go ahead.
THEN, we got a call from Curtis and he said he needed to get Deedra outta the house and did we want to do anything that evening. We told them our plans and invited them to join us.
They did, and we all enjoyed dinner at Asiago's. They had gone once before (for their anniversary) but it was a 1st for Tony and I.

We shared an appetizer. It was a couple of big plates with meats, cheeses and bruschetta bread and several (6 to be exact) small bowls of spreads. One was melted goat cheese (my favorite) and then the others were olives, tomatoes, etc. They were very good and we were all nearly full before the main course came. Luckily, both us women shared a plate with our hubby's so we managed to finish. It was very tasty!
 Thank you Heather!

We then went to Boise Town Square to watch SULLY!~ As we were driving to the theater, we came to a stop. There was a car in front of us and it had a kid in it who whipped around and was starring at us!!  I said "Who is that and why is he waving and staring at us?"  Then Tony says, "that's Caden!" lol  I didn't recognize him with the sun in my eyes and seriously, I just don't picture my grandkids driving  .......  He pulled into Edwards and we followed him in. Come to find out, he just got a job there and was headed to work! It was great to see him!~ He's such a good kid!
We then watched the movie and it was really good!
All in all, it was a fun evening and fun to have a date night with the kids! We should plan those more often with each couple who lives here.
