CHRISTMAS EVE (AFTERNOON) PARTY!~

I reserved the church again for Christmas Eve..... well actually, Christmas afternoon. We were there from 1 to 5. I had invited all the kids of course as well as Tony's brother Ken and his families. Also Stillman's inlaws and literally, anyone who wanted to participate. I was happy that Ken's familys came. Well, Cori his wife came. Ken is a plummer and he was called out to work because of the HUGE snowstorm we had. Frozen pipes I guess. Their daughter Sally and her huband and 3 kids came as well as her son Brad and his wife Courtney. Also daughter Emily and husband Nate.

Traci and Jason and 4 kids came!  I was literally thrilled to death to have them there!!  (Looks like the FLASH made an appearance at our party too!)  lol

Stillman's mother in law, Donna and her daughter Brigitte and her husband Jeremy and their son Brogan came too.  Here they are eating with Michelle.   EATING!!   That's what we did 1st!  We had turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, sweet potato souffle, funeral potatoes. Salads, rolls, appetizers, green bean casserole, pies, cakes, fudge ..... you name it!!  It was really a CHRISTMAS FEAST!!

I had  PHOTO PROPS and we all had fun with that!!

Right down to the little guys! It was fun!!

Isabel, Paxson and Traci ~

Traci loves this little dude.  (so do I but I had my hands full keeping the party going and taking pictures!

After dinner and having fun with the photo props, we got a chair from the lobby so Santa could make an appearance. Donna and her grandkids took a shot from the chair before Santa came.

And then the Jolley Man appeared!! He was such a sport!
He took his time with each child and gave them a candy cane and spoke to them about what they wanted for Christmas.

He took a little time with the adults too!
Jill sat on his lap and when someone shouted
"KISS HIM", she soundly put them in their
place and told them she was a married woman!

Upper right with Garrett Butterfield and
below that he is with Hawkins Stewart! Hmmm,
I wonder if Hawk knew Santa!  lol

Here he is with Nikki, Alex and Katelynn.

And here with Traci and her two girls. Sophia and Isabel.

Corbin's daddy even talked Corbin into sitting
on Santa's lap!  Candy Canes can make kids do
the funniest things!   lol

Stillman was thrilled to sit on Santa's lap!  I think he
must have been a very good boy this year!  lol

I even sat on his lap! Poor Santa!  I really should have stood behind him!  It would have saved Santa a lot of pain and it surely would have been a more flattering picture for me!

Not everyone was thrilled to sit on Santa's lap!!  Maddox was fine but little Paxson wanted NOTHING to do with Ole St. Nick!!   lol

After Santa left the building, we had a white elephant gift exchange. We started with the kids and Michelle read the story about Mr. and Mrs Right. The kids had a good time!
When they finished, the adults played the game where you can steal a gift 3 times. We laughed and had a great time. I was so glad we had so many in attendance. 49 to be exact.  We would have had more but Deedra had her baby on the the 22nd so she and Curtis and Charlotte stayed home. Curtis did drop off the 3 oldest kids. Nathan and Melissa and their 3 kids didn't come. Also, Art and Lynn went to SLC for Christmas so they weren't there either and 2 of Ken's girls and their families didn't come. I was expecting around 60 plus but considering, it was a good turnout and a fun party!

At 5PM, we cleaned up and everyone went home to have Christmas Eve with their own little families! Tony and I came home and relaxed and settled in for a quiet Christmas Eve.
It was a great day!!
