I'M OFF THE DRUGS!~

I forgot to post about my last visits to the doctor. I had to get another CT scan on the 6th of this month. It snowed a lot that day so the roads were awful. I was glad I had taken the day off from work so I didn't have to hurry.  The CT scan went well (other than I thought I'd peed myself when they put the dye in me)  lol  I DIDN'T  thank heavens, but when that warm feeling hits ya in the crouch, it sure feels like it!!
Then Thursday the 8th I went to MSTI to see Dr. Swerdloft and get the results!  I had to do blood work as soon as I got there and then I waited and waited and waited some more. I was glad I took that day off too because it took forever!!
Finally, I was called back and guess what??  I waited and waited and waited some more just sitting in the exam room!  Finally, he came in and he has such a great demeanor that I didn't even mind!
He told me my lab work was good and the CT scan was Great!!  He said they know so little about the disease that he wasn't sure which way to go BUT he decided to take me off the Tamoxifen completely for 6 months! I will then have to get another CT scan to see if my body is maintaining without medication. If it is, we will go another 6 months and do another CT scan and if all is good then, he thinks I might have beat it!    YAY!!~
