SUNDAY, A DAY OF REST????

Sunday is suppose to be a day of rest but when "the ox is in the mire" .... well, lets just say, it sure  wasn't on 1/8/2017!! The snow fell for a good two hours, maybe more! I shoveled the driveway and walk 4 times!! The 1st 3 times, the snow was light and fluffy!  Then around 3PM it was a rain/snow mix and it was HEAVY!!  A lot harder the 4th time!!

Tony went around the house getting the ice cycles off that were creating "ice dams" and also scraping off about 2 feet of snow from the eves!

We had ice cycles a plenty!! Not as big as the ones at his parents home though!
But we had a lot of them! ~

I shoveled a path (not a pretty one but a path none the less!) from the back of the house to the shed. Then Tony cleaned the roof of the shed !

Then Tony went to the Jarrett's, and Williams and helped them get snow off their roof!



And then to the Haverfields and over to his parents home too! He also helped two people get out of the neighborhood that were stuck!~  It was a busy Sunday for us but we were serving so it was OK! During one of our breaks, we came inside and made socks with ice melt in them and Tony place them at 3 different places on the roof to help the ice dams to melt!



I had to laugh! TRACI SENT ME THIS AND SAID THIS WAS Idaho FROM SPACE!! Pretty accurate, I must say!  lol
