So I said "Come on, give gramma a smile" and this is what I got! lol
Just goes to show ya that
Girls don't like to be told what to do.... no matter what age! lol
After the game, we went home and I put together a sald to take to "GAME NIGHT" at the Sugg's home. Then at 5:45 we headed to their home and had a wonderful time. Dale had prepared a wonderful "Rib Roast" and Christine made cheesy potatoes and green beans with toasted almonds!
And of course I had prepared a kale salad with poppyseed dressing. The Jarretts didin't make it this time as Shawn was sick. Suzette was to bring the dessert and so we didn't have it. (Not that any of us needed it either) After dinner we played our ususal "Mexican Train" and laughed and caught up on things as we hadn't been together since last November because Dale was sick in November and then Tony was sick in December and January Dale was sick again. It was fun to visit and play games with them again. They are good friends!~
Sunday, I was put in as Relief Society Board Chairman so tonight after work I have to go to Klynn Miller's home and she is going to give me some instruction. I canceled my Orchid replanting with Julie again. Tuesday, I'm bringing a meal into Suzy, Wednesday night Tony has a meeting at our house and Thursday evening we are going to the Temple. SO, Julie has graciously declined coming over till Friday night. My poor orchid is being put on hold till then! Life just gets too busy! That's why I can't wait to retire! lol |
