SATURDAY PROJECTS / FUNDRAISER

Traci, Sophia, Isabel and Andrew came over last Saturday so I could help with some sewing projects for Sophia's fundraiser. I told her I would make some other items to donate for the cause. Sophia will get 100% of the money raised from the items she has at the funraiser so I wanted to help her out as best as I could.
SO, I made 10 boxes and cards with candy inside......



I made her 5 BIG  boxes with 13 various cards and envelopes .....

I finished the burp cloths and we had 21 total!

And I made 2 receiving blankets and the kids tied them using my new quilting frames that Tony bought me!!  (The kids said they worked great!)

I also went through my linen closet and got rid of 5 afghans, a large 4th of July rag quilt and a lap quilt that I'd made. I decided that a lot of those things just sit in the closet and maybe get used once a year so I wanted them to go to a good cause. Sure hope they sell and make her some money!!

She was happy to get them and I am excited to go to the TACO DINNER FUNDRAISER and silent auction on May 17th in Kuna! It will be fun to see what kind of money she can earn!
