It was a VERY BUSY weekend with family and friends! Jordan, who is Michelle's brother was married on Saturday. Michelle is Stillman's wife and we have been close to Michelle's mother and brother from the start. We were priviledged to be invited to the sealing of Jordan and Stephanie. Her little girls had been sealed to their father so they were not in the ceremony but were there to greet the happy couple when they came out of the temple. |
|
We went to the reception that evening in Meridian. It was held in Stephanies parents backyard. It was decorated beautifully but the weather didn't cooperate and it started to rain. Unfortunately, we did not stay long. It was nice while WE lasted! lol |

Stillman and Michelle wanted to have Bridger blessed in our ward so the family could be present. All of Stillman's sisters and their families were there as well as Michelle's mother, her sister Bridget and her family and her Aunt and Uncle and cousin Bob, AND their friends, the Sanders from Wyoming. It was so nice to have a big turnout. Aunt Melissa snagged the little guy during Sacrament Meeting. |

We tried to get everyone who was there but Art and Lynn left before we got the BIG family photo!
Chris Floyds mother was there as well. She is from Hawaii. She was in town visiting her kids so she came too! It was so nice to see her. We even got the Bishop and Brother Edge in the photo! lol |
As soon as the meeting and photpo's were done we went home to change and then we picked up Art and Lynn and headed for Salt Lake City to attend Daryl's funeral. We got to Bountiful around 5:30, filled up at Costco, drove to Alivia and Corys to see their new kitchen and then on up the hill to Debbies to drop off the folks. We visited for a bit and then went to Saratoga Springs to see Heather and family. They were gracious enough to put us up for the night.

Monday, we attended Daryl's memorial Service. His brother Ken and sister Felicia gave the ulogy together. It was comical and sincere. His four daughters all got up together and each spoke about their memories of their father and then Karla got up! She wasn't on the program but she stood with her daughters and told of her love for her husband. They are all such strong women! It was a very nice service. We saw a lot of friends and family!
REST IN PEACE DARYL! |
