OFFICE SURPRISE!!~

OH MY GOODNESS!!  I told the owner (Ann) that I didn't want a party and she said that was fine! She said she would rather give me a little monetary parting gift and that was great by me!!  So I told my manager that Ann and I had discussed it and I told Ann that I didn't want a party! Nancy was dissappointed because evidently she was planning a
BIG RETIREMENT OFFICE PARTY!
 I assured her it was OK, I really didn't want it. I told her that the only people left in the business that I'm close to are her and Ann. I said Ann told me that we could go out for a milkshake on her!
SO, here it is....3 days left to work and I get here this morning (it's payday) and I walk into
THIS!!
Entrance to my office!!

 

So much for NOT going out in style!!

Then I step into the room to this!!



I text Nancy and say
"Surprise, surprise surprise!!  Thank you! A few have fallen down but I taped them back up!"
She sends back a smiling emoji.
Then I go up front so I could put the "Now Hiring" flag out side and I find this!!

Nancy said this was my gift and kinda a joke.... we work with "temps" and seriously, sometimes there are some of them that are Dum dums!  lol

When I went up fron to turn on the lights and puty out the "NOW HIRING" flag, I find a table and more balloons and cups! I text Nancy again and ask her if we are serving the temps "Drinks" today!  lol I was actually a bit worried that Ann might freak out when she came in with pay checks but she was OK with it and said it was GREAT! She gave me a card signed by her and the 2 gals in the Boise office! Very nice!
Then when Nancy came in to work, she gets out a cake and punch and I have been giving it out as the temps come to get their paychecks. Then Deb, the HR gal from Lyppert Components, comes in and gives me a retirement card and a BIG HUG and tells me how much she appreciated me helping her out when Nancy wasn't around~ Man, I am so touched!
 It's a Party after all! lol

Nancy also got gifted me with this beautiful SOFT blanket and this gorgeous jewelry box!
 I was TOTALLY SURPRISED AND VERY TOUCHED!~
