PARADE AMERICA!~

A little of the action we enjoyed at
 PARADE AMERICA!~
on Saturday morning! Poor little pony!  Thats a lot of weight! lol

I'll bet this guys arms got tired holding them up for an hour and a half!! Hope someone changed positions with him occasionally!

BUGFOOT!~  LOL

This guy would stop and really bust a move!!  So cute!

The Aztec costumes were absolutely beautiful!

And I told Tony, the only way I would be in the parade is if I could be "incognito", like this gal was! lol

And this is the reason we were at the parade in the 1st place!  Scotlyn called me Friday night and asked if I would go see her in PARADE AMERICA! The Optimist Cheerleaders put together a float and she wanted me to come watch her! They all dressed in a red T-shirt!

And their float took 1st place!! I.m not sure how they voted but at least her's was 1st place Civic! There were probably 1st place in other categories as well! lol

These girls walked in front of the float and carried the banner.
Scotlyn was riding on the float and waving like the beauty queen, that she is!  She was so cute!!

We sat with Hawkins and Scott. Here, Hawkins is enjoying a straw of whipped cream!!

Thanks to this young lady who was distributing a sweet taste to anyone who wanted one!
Even I took her up on it!~
Not SURPRISING!`

We had a great spot in the shade and on the grass in front of the SUBWAY on 12th Ave. It was even a bit cool for a while but once the parade started, I warmed up quickly!

There were a couple of ladies (in Scott's Ward) who were sitting in front of us and one gave me a light blanket for my legs. I didn't need it for long but it came in handy at the 1st!!

These boys enjoyed a ride in a little plane!

Scott and Hawkins moved up front when the 2 ladies left. The horses were the last in the parade. A good thing! They sure messed up the street, if you know what I mean! lol
Fun, morning and I am so glad Scotlyn called us and asked us to come! It's always great being with family!
