FAMILY VISIT'S

I went to Mom and Dad Norton's on Wednesday morning and mowed their lawn. When I finished, I went in the house to find Brad and Courtney and the twins visiting Dad. I was so happy to see them and their cute little boys! Cooper and Beckham.  Later in the day, Phillip came over as well. I wasn't there at the time so didn't get a picture of him but I was so happy he went to see Dad.

In the evening, around 6PM, we met as a family to talk about the Funeral Services etc.  Perry Zeyer had come by the previous night when Tony and I were there with Mom and Debbie and told us if we got some things done now, it will take a lot of pressure off us when the time comes. Dad was up to the table in his wheel chair and ready to eat. 

We had pizza, watermelon and I made Lemon bars for dessert. Diane made it to town just as we were eating so she was able to be in on the planning as well. It was so good to have the 4 siblings together. It has helped Mom so much. Melissa was there as well and we accomplished a lot!

Debbie couldn't get the pizza cut up fast enough for Dad. lol  He hasn't lost his appetite yet and that's a good thing!!

After eating, Ken and Diane got him to the kitchen sink to wash up and then Tony and Ken, got him ready for bed and laid him down. He was snoring before we finished up our business. Ken , Cori and Melissa left around 8:30 and I had to leave around 9 to go to my Temple Cleaning assignment. Tony stayed late so he could get dad up to use  the restroom one more time before settling down completely for the night. Hard to say how much time he has left but he is on a steady decline. 
He's a GOOD MAN!~
