LIFE GOES TOO FAST!~

I wasn't all that happy when I woke up this morning! I was sleeping so well and Tony gets up at 7AM!  It's still dark outside! I didn't want to get up that early!!  We're retired for Pete's Sake!! When I get up early, I quietly go out of the room and let him sleep as long as he needs to, BUT when he's awake, he turns on the bathroom light and makes all kinds of noise ....grrrrrr

Needless to say, we were at the Rec Center by 7:30. After my 1st lap, the sun was coming up. I have to admit, it was beautiful!

But it was cold and I'm glad I wore a sweatshirt!! 47*!!!

I passed a lady on TWO laps and she had a short sleeved shirt on..... I only saw her twice and she was gone! I'm sure she decided it was too cold to walk without a jacket of some sort. By the time the sun came up, I was in a better mood. The General Conference was finally downloaded  on our Church app so I was able to listen to the recent 1st Saturday session of General Conference while I walked. That helped my mood too! I found a young man's driver's license on the grass just off the path. I took a detour and turned it into the office just in case he was still at the Rec Ctr.  After I finished my 6 laps and had over 10,000 steps, I went to the car and read my book. Tony showed up shortly thereafter. We went by Saltzer to ask the doctor if I could get a flu shot. I figured I was OK to get one but Tony wanted to make sure it was OK with what I have been dealing with.

 I was right.

When  we got home, I finished the cards I had been working on. I like them! That Giraffe is so stinkin cute!! I started on 8 more when Tony said, "Let's go to Costco and get the flu shot"! So, off we went.

He was 1st. I also got a 3 month's supply of a powder inhaler and luckily it was a free co-pay!!  Not sure I am going to like huffing a powder but it beats paying $200 a month! She said to make sure I wash out my mouth after each use (I do it twice a day) or brush my teeth (which she said is better yet) or it could cause thrush! 

YIKES!  Don't want that!! 

After Tony got his shot, I got mine. Then we did a little shopping for a few items. Potatoes, Mexican Corn Dip, milk and he bought me a WOK!~  Now, to find a good Oriental dish to cook!

When we got home, we ate dinner and I finished up the cards I had started before we left for Costco. I am doing 3 loads of laundry and we are going to rest and watch NCIS. Then we'll hit the sack as we have a day at the Temple tomorrow. Deedra is going to go with us again, as well as Lynn and Joyce.

It was a good day, even if it started off rocky! lol
