DAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS 2022

I woke up this morning at 5:19 and couldn't go back to sleep but I got a lot better score last night than the past previous nights. Thankful for that. I enjoy turning on the lights on my "JESUS TREE" and basking in the glow while I read or and play on my phone. It's my brother, Dave's birthday as well as our granddaughter, Ellies.  I sent them both birthday wishes and caught up on texts from my little brother Rick. His family celebrated Christmas early as he is in the Stake Presidency and is busy on Sunday.
I read a book for a while and then when Tony came down to go to the gym, I went upstairs, dressed and got ready for the day.

This was the year of the Christmas Santa! I made one HUGE one and at least 200 small ones. I made them for a bazaar, which I wasn't able to do because of my health. They have come in handy though as I gave a lot of them away for Christmas.

It snowed during the night so we will have a
"WHITE CHRISTMAS".  It's beautiful outside.

I found a Christmas card on my doorstep as I stepped out to take a picture. It was from Jeff and Cynthia, and she gave me this cool book marker. She and I both have a love for a good book and she gives me a lot of her books when she is finished with them. I love the book marker. I saw them on Pinterest and thought they'd be cool to make. Now, I don't have to. lol

While Tony was shoveling snow, I made a German Pancake. I used frozen raspberries this time to make it a little Christmassy..
NOTE TO SELF!
Never again. It was too much liquid or something because it didn't raise like it usually does and was a little runny.  Still tasted good but not like it should! lol Live and Learn!

Tony went out after breakfast to do some more shoveling. (He's a trooper, & does a lot of the neighbors walks too) While he was working, Patrick our next door neighbor came home from work and brought us this beautiful Christmas arrangement.  It's so beautiful! I love it! Our neighbors are such good people!

Christmas Eve dinner was pretty simple. A chicken sandwich and a cup of tomato basil soup. We're pretty laid back this year! lol
Heather bought these beautiful flowers for my mother! It is her 101st Christmas and Wendy sent her this picture. I got it from Heather this morning. It makes my heart so full of love and gratitude. Mom looks radiant and Heather is so thoughtful!
WHAT A CHRISTMAS TO REMEMBER!
I also just got a text from my brother Rick telling me of a wonderful phone call he received from Caden. My heart is full today as I contemplate all my blessings, and this special time of year when we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior,
JESUS CHRIST!
