GETTING STRONGER~

Well, each day seems a little better. I'm trying to do a little more each day to build up my strength. Tony got up and went to the Temple this morning. I decided to work on some Christmas cards. I always do a Christmas picture but it just ain't happening this year!

So, I got out what few Christmas cards I had made and started sending them to those who I have received cards from so far. I'm gonna have to have Tony buy me some cards so I can finish.
BUT, it's a start.

When I went out to mail them, I found a package on my front step. It was this beautiful Minky blanket!! I looked inside to find a note to see who it was from. There were two notes. One described the blanket and the other gave a short message saying to send a thank you to who sent it.....BUT,  there was nothing that said who sent it. So, I started texting. 1st, my kids. No luck there. Then, Scott suggested my friend Anita Zufeld. She was the one who gave me the nice wrap when I broke my wrists. Nope, not her....Just as I was going to text my Ministering sisters, my phone rings and it was my friend Jorjette. She asked me if I could help her come up with some ideas for gifts, the Stake Relief Presidency can give to the Ward RS Presidency's on their birthdays this coming year. So, since I am not doing much, I got on Pinterest and picked out 6 or 7 ideas that I thought were cute, printed them and got them ready to mail to her. I was just heading out the door as my Ministering sisters were walking up my walk. Ava took my mail to the box and then they came in to visit.  Lorraine and Ava are actual sisters & wonderful!

They brought me an Amaryllis flower!! I was so excited! I have seen my sister Lorie's and its bloomed and beautiful. So, now I have one of my own! BUT, they did not give me the Minky blanket!
Tony got home just before they left. He took in the garbage cans for us and Joyce and then pulled into our driveway after the Sisters pulled out. I showed him the plant they gave me and then the mystery blanket. He looked over the notes in the bag and saw no indication of who they were from either.
I got a cute couple of pictures from Jeff today of the boys with Santa! It is so cute!

They are sure growing up! I love these annual Santa Pictures!! So fun to see how they grow each year! I miss them.
Tony and I ate lunch together and then we sat down to watch a Christmas movie. His mother called and during the conversation we found out the blanket was sent from Debbie and Alivia! YAY!!  Mystery solved. I am so grateful for it. Its warm, soft, cozy and my color!!  Red!  So sweet of them.
I was a bit concerned as I have been hacking up big globs of black mucous. I called Traci, and she said from what she understands about my condition, the spots on the  outside of my skin, are also on the inside of my body. In my lungs and veins. She said they are probably sloughing off and the goo has to go somewhere. Pretty gross but after I get rid of the junk, I do feel a little better.  Its been a wonderful day. So grateful for my blessings. They are many!
