Today was a GREAT DAY!~
Tony got up and went to the gym. He told me that if I could get the Christmas gifts ready, he would deliver them for me this afternoon. We'd already wrapped the big gifts but I put the Christmas ornaments for the grandkid's in little bags with a little ribbon.
Done!
Then I wrapped up a small gift for the Relief Society Presidency I serve with. He'll take them to church on Sunday and deliver them for me. Such a "CHAMP"....don't know what I'd do without him! I also got things ready in the backroom for Kate & Austin and baby Emma. They are coming to town to a wedding in the Meridian Temple and are staying with us tomorrow night. I was having to rest in between the activities but I was getting things done!
Tony called and said he was on his way home, and was going to stop at Walmart. He asked if I needed anything. I asked if he could pick me up some Christmas cards. He came home with two boxes, so I got caught up on those. As I went out to mail them, there was a package on the front step. it was the book on Autoimmune disorders and a cookbook to go with it. The Bishop's wife sent it to me. I am so blessed. I LOVE my Ward family!! I've started reading it and it is going to be very helpful! Also notice the warm Minky blanket I got yesterday from Debbie and Alivia. It is awesome!
Tony had to leave again to deliver the packages, get a prescription at Costco and wash the car. He brought home pizza from Smokey Mountain! Mmmmm, my favorite!
I had showered later this evening and I was ready for bed....(Who am I kidding, I've lived in my pajama's since I got out of the hospital) Tony was in the shower and the doorbell rang. I thought t might be Patrick from next door because he wanted to borrow a life jacket. He's going kayaking tomorrow. I went to answer the door and it was Tom and Shantel Bugby, her sister and her husband, and their three adorable little girls and her parents. They sang two Christmas carols to me! I started crying! It totally made my day! did I mention,
I LOVE MY WARD??
When they finished they gave me this bag of Zebra Popcorn! It was wonderful!! I also got calls from Jenni, Peggy, Delinda and one from Shantel earlier in the day. I feel so blessed this year despite the health issues! Did I mention, I LOVE MY WARD!!
AND FAMILY!
