What a blessed and wonderful weekend!! My niece Kate, and her husband, Austin, came and spent the night with us. Austin had a missionary companion get married in the Meridian Temple on Saturday at two. They drove up from Provo Saturday morning, went directly to the wedding. Then to dinner and a reception afterwards in Emmett. They weren't to arrive at our house till around 10PM. So Tony and I went to his mom's to watch the "Frisco Bowl". No one is at Lynn's so I took the chance and left the house. Felt good to get out. At the beginning of the 4th quarter, we came home and the kids showed up shortly thereafter.
I got to meet Baby Emma for the 1st time! What a sweetheart! Such a happy little girl and beautiful like her mommy!
After her mom fed her, she was All smiles!
They are such good people! So full of the Spirit and love!! We had a good hour visit before we all turned in for bed. Sunday morning, I got up at 7:15 and made them my famous quiche for breakfast and hash browns and orange juice. Then they rushed off to the 9am Ward meeting in our building. After Sacrament meeting, they came home and Austin helped Tony administer the Sacrament to me and Kate. It was such a blessing to have them here. Tony had to rush off at 10:25 for choir practice and our meetings.
We had another good visit before he left.
SHORT BUT SO GOOD!
And Tony took a picture of us before he departed.
The kids got ready for their 6 hour drive back to Utah. I got another family picture before they left.
And one of sweet little Emma. So glad I got to meet her!
At noon, I Zoomed our Christmas program. It started off with our newest return Missionary, Melody Hallenberger. She gave a wonderful report and I cried all the way through. (Glad I was HOME) I am so emotional these days.
Then our choir took over and presented our Christmas program. It was beautiful.
Tony's double quartet did such a great job of
"OH COME OH COME EMMANUEL!"
I was so proud of my hubby! He is such a blessing!! My heart is so full of love for my Savior whom we celebrate his birth this glorious Christmas Season. I am so blessed! What a great Sabbath!
Tony brought me home this beautiful ornament that the Ward gave to each family this morning.
I LOVE IT!~
