THE SABBATH!~

I feel so much better this morning as I was able to get a decent nights sleep! I was so exhausted last night, that as Tony was watching some HAWAII FIVE 0 episodes, I slept thru at least one of them! After he finished, we read our lesson for Sunday and read our scriptures and had our prayers. He went upstairs to bed and I immediately fell asleep again on the couch. I did wake up at 4 am and finished the book I was reading, and then again at 6am went back to sleep. It felt so good to catch up.

When I got up this morning, I went up and dressed and got ready for the day. I got my preparations ready for the brunch I was having for Lynn and Joyce and Tony and myself. Once the quiche' was in the oven, I went into the living room and Tony blessed the sacrament and gave it to me. Such a sweet experience to have it done here at home. However, I will be happy to get back and participate with the ward. Soon I hope. Mom Norton came over at 10:45 and we were watching THE CHOSEN. She came in and watched with us. When the quiche' was finished, we called Joyce to see if she could come over to eat. She did.

We had the quiche' and hash browns.

Its such a pretty dish and is as delicious as it is pretty!! I enjoyed being able to feed them as they have taken care of me for the past month and a half. Tony was such a sweetheart and cleared the table after we ate and loaded the dishwasher. We all finished watching the episode of The Chosen we had been watching (well at least until they had to leave for Choir practice.

After they left, I started reading another book that Cynthia gave me a while back. I had it on the shelf and hadn't picked it up yet. Since the last three have been so good, I decided to start this set of two. I read until Sacrament meeting started.

I watched it on Zoom and it was such a good testimony meeting today.  After it was over, I listened to the Sunday school Conference talk and also to the talks I  will be giving in February. I am confident I will be back to church by then. I'm going to get lab work in the morning and hope my blood work will tell me that things are progressing forward! Here's praying they do!

Around 6PM this evening we went to Lynn's for an OPEN HOUSE for Curtis and Deedra. They will be moving to Washington (Tri Cities) this coming Saturday. Curtis will be opening a new office for Keller & Associates! Aunt Debbie was there but left right after the kids got to Lynn's. BUT, not before I got a picture!

Nate, Melissa and Alivia came next. Got a picture of the three girls  together!

Didn't see much of Chris all night so I was glad I got a picture of him with Curtis, before he disappeared. lol

Scott and Jill and Hawkins and Scotlyn came! Jill was entertaining (as always) She's so fun to have at a party!

Caught Tammy with her mouth full!  We had cookies, hot chocolate, chips and a MOST DELICIOUS GUACOMOLE!!

Great picture of Deedra!!  Gonna miss her!!

We sat around and had a good visit. Around 8 o'clock, people started leaving as kids have homework and back to school tomorrow.
So I got some pictures of all who were there to wish the Butterfields farewell! The Floyds and the Butterfields!

The Cleavers, Stewarts and Butterfields!
minus little kids!

The Butterfields, Mom Norton, Aunt Joyce (MOM & DAD) and the Butterfields! It was a wonderful evening. I wore my mask except when I ate and took a picture. lol I was a good girl! We came home, finished watching Joel's funeral again and then read our scriptures and headed to bed. It's gonna be a busy week!
