LAB'S / CARDS and NORMA'S BIRTHDAY!~

Well, back to a short night. I finally get a decent one and think I'm on the up and then sleep , or should I say I DON'T SLEEP again! I got 5 hours last night which is better than some nights but I could still use more. I read my book for a while and then read my scriptures till 8am. Then I went up to dress and get ready to go to the hospital to get labs. I drank a bottle of water and ate a couple of crackers so I could take my pills and off we went. Tony just waited in the car and I went in and did them. It never takes very long, maybe 20 minutes and now I am anxiously awaiting the results!
Chris let me know it was Norma's birthday today! I'm so glad he did! I sent her a text wishing her a good day and now I'm sending her a belated birthday card!

Next year, I will know ahead of time and will get one sent to her on time!! I got a response from her and she is simply the sweetest young lady! She refers to me as Momma Laverne!  I love it!!

Tony dropped me off at the corner and he headed to the gym. We are getting a nice little rain outside and we are grateful for that. It is cool, wet and windy but like I said, we need it and we aren't getting the flooding my brother Dave is getting in California. When I got home, I decided to work up in my craft room and design a new card. I have some new items I wanted to work with.

I have some new stencils that I wanted to try so I stenciled the poco dots on the red paper. I had a rose stamp that was new and I tried it 1st, and was very disappointed in it. So I got out this daisy and love it.  I want to make several of these but after one, I was tired so came down to write a couple of letters. One to Norma and one to Curtis and Deedra. Got to get them in the mail soon or they won't get it before they move!

After I got my letters finished, I went up and made  one more but put the sentiment at the bottom.  Think I'll make some more, but not today! lol

I'm so disappointed in the Amaryllis I got for Christmas!  I've been taking good care of it but it hasn't got a single green sprout at all. Not sure if it will ever sprout. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong??  Is it not buried deep enough? Too much water??  ANYTHING??
Tony got home and we ate left over quiche' and hash browns for lunch. We are watching some TV and relaxing.
I got the results back from the urine test but still nothing on the blood tests yet. There are still problems with the bladder but I'll know more of what it means when I see Dr. Hansen on Wednesday.
