We were up bright and early this morning for out Temple shift. 1st time I have been back to the shift since November 28th of 2022!
It was wonderful to return. There are some changes that I am getting used to but it will come with time. Just so nice to be back! I met a few new and saw a lot of old acquaintances. The weather was 20* when we left home but after our shift, it was nearing 40*. We stopped at Costco on the way home and picked up some prescriptions and a taco kit for dinner. Came home, changed our clothes and I whipped us up 3 Taco's a piece. Then we had some ice-cream. We relaxed and watched THE CLOSER and I took a nap! I was pretty tired. I'll get use to it again, the stronger I get! At 4:30, we left to head to RIDGEVIEW High. Scott is announcing the games and we've not been able to hear him at any of them. He said this may be the last one so we went. I wore my mask and we were surprised to see the BIG CROWDS.
Scott did an awesome job!! I can see why they chose him! He is so gregarious and likable! It was fun!

Unfortunately, Ridgeview lost to Skyview. It was a horrible 1st quarter, 2nd quarter was better, then 3rd quarter was pretty good. BUT, they couldn't keep Skyview from scoring and we lost by 10 points. Still it was fun and we loved hearing Scott call it!
I got a picture of Scotlyn after the game was over. Hawk and his girlfriend (Scotlyn....lol too funny) was there as well but they took off before I could get a shot of them. However, Scott sent me one after the game and I was home!

We ran out to the car after the game and got the 4 cans of sardines that Lynn gave us. (I WON'T EAT THEM and Tony didn't really want them either) BUT Scott loves them so we brought them back in for him. I told him "nothing says I Love You like a can of sardines! lol And he got FOUR! lol
We came home and Tony helped me cut up the cheese so I could run it through the food processor for tomorrow's dinner. I'm making quiche'. Then we relaxed and now it's bedtime and I am ready to call it a day! It's long when ya start at 4:40am!

Yay for getting back to the temple for your shift! Just take it a little at a time. I would have loved to hear Scott announcing the game. He's such a fun person! I think I spotted you and Dad leaning against the white wall on the left side.
YEP, that's us!! lol It was fun to listen to him!! Skyview has a fantastic team!! The boys were so fast and good shots!!
