MONDAY, BACK AT IT!~

Yesterday, the gal who needed some things from the ward called me and said she heard I had some items for her. I told her I did and my mother in law had some as well. She said she would come over today after she got off work to pick them up! We went to the gym, at 8:15. I walked 4 miles and Tony walked and did weights. We came home and Lynn called and said she had a mini toaster oven that we could give her as well. So we decided to go over to pick it up and then run some errands. We went to JoAnn's and I got 3 tubes of Tom bow glue which we had 50% off coupons for!  YAY!!~ Then we ran to WINCO and got a few items for dinner with the missionaries on Wednesday and dinner with the Gleason & Bostrom's on Friday night. We then ran the car through the car wash and came home.

We waited till after 3PM and Penny had still not come to get the items I collected for her so I made us a taco and baked some more cookies and we ate. I finally sent her a text and told her I had all the stuff ready to go. Finally at 6:20, I get a text from her saying she'd come by and no one answered the door.

 SHE DID NOT SEND ME A TEXT, 

like she said she was going to and she didn't ring the door bell!! We were in the back room watching TV and if any of you know my husband, he likes it loud!! Obviously, we didn't hear her knock. I asked if she could run back over and get it but she said she'd come tomorrow after work. I told her I have a doctor appointment tomorrow in Caldwell. I told her I would put it on the porch and she could pick it up. She was OK with that. I was going to set it out tomorrow before we left BUT, Tony was annoyed so he boxed it all up and set it out tonight!! I hope no one swipes it!  I made her cookies and had a bowl of Cowboy Baked Beans to give her as well so I guess I'll set those out before we leave tomorrow. 

I worked on my "Manley Cards" a little!  I used a Gear die for the silver background and wasn't sure I liked it.

Then I made one with this background and liked it a lot better. Although I haven't glued anything down yet. Had to see if I was going to like it, and I do!!

So I cut out several  pieces of the electrical tape, used polish remover to take off the red ink that's on it, and then ran them through my embosser. I didn't get the cards put together but I can do that tomorrow after the gym and while I'm doing laundry. Time for bed. I'm ready to read and call it a day!
