SATURDAY VISIT

Had a wonderful day serving in the temple today! 

We didn't get out till almost noon as we officiated the 10am session. It was sunny and beautiful out when we left. I had a text on my phone from Brea Babb (used to be Tippetts when she was one of my YW) She wanted to know if she could come visit today. I told her we had just left the temple but I would be home at 1:30 as we wanted to stop at Costco to get chili and romaine lettuce. Then we went to Winco for onions, cabbage and milk.  We got home and kinda expected her at 1:30. lol  Tony changed and then I changed. We waited and watched a little CSI Miami ....it got to be later and later and we were getting hungry. Finally at 3:30 I sent her a text and asked when she was coming because we wanted to eat but didn't want to be eating when she showed up. She said she was at the dollar store on 12th and would be over in 10 minutes. lol I still had time to peel my squash and get my soup made for tomorrow's dinner. She and her mother and 2 kiddies finally showed up after 4 o'clock.   

The last I'd seen her, she just had her little boy, Artie.  He's 5 now and her little girl is one. Her name is Freya. Cute little kids. Brea and her mom and I had a wonderful visit catching up!

They stayed till 5:30 and I got some pictures before they left. Cute little family. They brought me a gift and wished me well. I sent her home with a box of cards. 

Her mom and her said they'd like to come again and visit and maybe have a Potluck and she would bring her husband. Made me feel good that she is still in touch with me. Her mom is active but Brea isn't but she's a good momma and a sweet girl! We had a good time. After they left, I put the chicken in the air fryer. Luckily, the salad was already made.

Just had to add the chicken and mandarins and we ate about 6PM. Time to set the clocks back and get to bed. It was a busy day and I'm tired and I have to teach tomorrow so better get rested!
