SURPRISE VISIT!~

Well, today was a very nice surprise. Tony and I did our usual Sunday morning by getting dressed and watching Music & The Spoken Word and then we turned on UNSHAKEN! At 12:20, Tony left for choir practice.  I was going to drive over at 1:15. At 1;10, I get a call from Charcie. (my niece)  She told me she was driving to Utah and wanted to know if she and the kids could stop for a short visit. Ben was two hours behind them. He was driving a jeep to his sister's and she was going to sell it for them. They would hook up in Pocatello. I asked her how far out she was and she said about 1/2 hour but she had to stop for gas. I told her I would go to church so I could take the Sacrament and then I would come home and meet up with her. She sent me a picture of Mom.

She said Mom's Ministering Sister sent her these Pussy Willows just before she left and so she took this picture. Mom looks MARVELOUS!  She sure doesn't look 100 and 1/2!! I left for church and stayed till after the Sacrament.  When we got home, Charcie and the kiddies showed up about 10 minutes after us! It worked out great! 

We went into the toy room and the kids had a great time with all my crappy toys while we had a wonderful visit! lol  We've got to fix the toy box though as the lid fell on Elizabeth's head!

  DANG THING!~

This little Gideon is a kick in the pants!! He is a character for sure! 

Little Diana has grown a lot since we last saw her. She is walking all over the place but still not talking a lot. Still it was fun to see her and to watch her interact with us all. They were her a little over an hour and then she said they had to hit the road for Pocatello. They were gonna meet up with Ben there at the McDonalds. 

I told them to make a funny face and they all  (except for Diana) obliged, especially Gideon! lol

He loves to cross his eyes!!  The others do wonders with their tongues! lol

Before they left, Charcie asked if the kids could leave us with a scripture? OF COURSE!!  They recited Matthew 5:14 thru16!!  I was amazed!!  They all did it (except for Diana) and whipped through it like it was nothing!! SO AWESOME!~

After the kids left, I quickly put my veggies in the oven and mashed my potatoes. As soon as they were done, we headed over to Joyce's for dinner. Lubov joined us again.

We had beef chunks, mashed potatoes, roasted veggies and an upside down pineapple cake. I got a call from a sister in the ward (whom I haven't seen in a long time. I'm seriously not sure why she called me but WOW, she was on a roll! She must have needed to vent or something because she went off about her house repairs! She was swearing like a sailor and I wasn't quite sure what to say. At one point she said she had a deck of cards and asked if I would come over and play? I told her I was at Aunt Joyce's home for dinner but asked if she would be home tomorrow morning? I told her I would have Tony drop me off while he was at the gym and would visit with her for a couple of hours. She was pleased. I'm a little worried about it but we'll see how things go! I called the RS President after the call and asked her if she told Sheila to call me. She hadn't, so I told her about the call. She was shocked! Guess tomorrow will be an interesting morning! lol
