PLANS'S CHANGE

We were asked to be Veil Coordinator's this morning so we had to be at the Temple at 5:30.  We got up at 4am and left about 10 to 5. Made it in good time. It was cold and windy but nice and comfortable in the temple. We both enjoy the veil coordinator position and even with the larger numbers' in patrons, things ran real smooth.
I got out to the car before Tony so shot a picture before he got out! We came home and changed clothes and rested a while. Mom came over with a couple of small chicken salad sandwiches from the RS Birthday luncheon (which I missed because I was serving in the temple) It was just what we needed. She also got me a paper dress that were decorating all the tables at the event. Sweet of her!

The theme was 100 DRESSES and everyone donated dresses for the needy. Mom said it was a wonderful program and the guest speaker was a refugee from Ukraine. She came here with nothing. She was so appreciative of the USA!  We seriously don't know how blessed we are!!
After Mom left, we watched some of THE CLOSER and then at 3 o'clock, we decided to go to eat lunch with a gift card we got.

We had been invited over to the Jarrett's at 6 in the evening to play games but they told us to eat 1st. We got 2 gift cards from Select Health so decided to use one.

We decided to just have the soup and salad ALL YOU CAN EAT!
I got the Minestrone and took some salad and a bread stick. Tony got the Chicken Gnome or Ganachi or something.....  He then cleaned up the salad and the bread sticks .

I got another bowl of soup! The Zuppa Toscano!  My favorite!!
After we ate, we ran to WINCO to get the Sesame oil we forgot yesterday. We also got a couple of onions because I have to do the veggies for tomorrow's dinner.  We then came home and were relaxing until it was time to go to the Jarrett's. HOWEVER, I got a text from Shawn saying Suzette was not feeling well and they had to cancel. NO PROBLEM! I really wasn't in the mood to play games anyway! lol  They asked about next Saturday but I told them we weren't available (mainly because I have to teach the next Sunday and I want to be going over my lesson) so we set it up for the 18th.
We just relaxed the rest of the evening and are now going to read our scriptures and hit the hay! I'm tired. Getting up at 4 and going strong all day wears me out. Not that I went strong ALL day but enough!
It was a great day! Love to serve in the temple!
