BUSY PRODUCTIVE DAY!~

We spent the morning at Portico West so Tony could get the CT scan for his upcoming radiology treatments. He was supposed to be there at 10 am and since we never know how the freeway will be, we left at 9:20. I went in with him while he got checked in and then I took his keys, wallet and watch (hmmmm sounds like a movie I've seen lol) and went out to the car to wait. It took a good two hours. Glad I'd brought a book to read and had my phone to look at.
He came out about 15 after 12 noon. We were going to go to the gym but I opted out as I am feeding the missionaries at 5PM as well as Lynn and Joyce and I needed to do laundry and clean my house before they come.  He dropped me off and I got my laundry started, my vacuuming and dusting done.

I put up my EASTER set after I dusted.

Then I started on dinner. I filled my chicken enchiladas and browned them and started on the sauce. I should have taken a picture of them after the sauce was on and they were done and then broiled. They were so pretty! lol

I also made Spanish rice.

Refried Bean! (Not quite as good as the restaurant ones!
( but I tried)

Lynn was the 1st to show up. It was funny because the missionaries went to her home 1st and then realized it was at our home so they were a bit late, BUT it was OK because Joyce made custard and she called at  to 5 and said she was going to be late because her custard wasn't done! lol I told her she still had time, cuz the missionaries weren't here either. Timing was awesome and we all ate together! Really nice boys. Elder Uhrich is from Gilbert Arizona and was down with the Mexican Food. Elder Adair from Eagle Mountain Utah! He is not on top of the hill like Heather and Jon but lives at the bottom and can see the new Saratoga Temple from his home.

They had us watch a short video called THE GOOD NEWS on You Tube. Then we had a discussion. It was a nice evening and we sure enjoyed visiting with them.  After everyone left, Tony and I dropped off some dinner and a case of water at Angela's house. She has covid so I didn't dare go in. Then we ran to the church so Tony could get Joyce's baptismal names back from the Bishop but it turned out he didn't have any more. (the Youth had done them) then we ran to Chris and Tammy's to drop off a Birthday card to Katie. No one was home there either so I left in in the little dry fountain they have outside their door. As we were leaving the subdivision, we passed Tammy. lol I sent a text to Katie and told her the card was delivered. We came home, and got rid of all the old plastic plants on the patio. Tomorrow's garbage day and we decided to get rid of them as they are all falling apart. Then I cleaned out my big flower pots in the back yard and Tony did some cleaning in the berm.

The perennials in some of the pots are starting to come to life!

I pulled out the dead and love to see new green!!

I'm really excited for this "Basket of Gold"!  It's just green for now but it will be beautiful little yellow flowers eventually!! We came in and got all the garbage's emptied inside and then settled down to watch THE VOICE. Time for bed and reading our scriptures now and off to ZZZZZZZZZZZZ land!
It was a GREAT DAY!~
