COLD AND WINDY AGAIN!~

I walked on the outside track yesterday but it was so dang cold today

That I went in to walk. I met another lady named Barbara who wanted to walk with me and the time went really fast as we got to know each other. It was nice. I was so stiff and sore and seriously have NO ENERGY today. Luckily,  I made my 3 miles. 

We stopped at Lynn's on the way home, as she was not answering her phone. We get a little worried about her when she doesn't answer. We found her in her bedroom just getting dressed. She said she was feeling better but not that much better. 

Her voice is back but she said she got sick to her stomach this morning so went back to bed .She doesn't look like she feels very good! I told her I would bring over some of the ham hash so she doesn't have to cook.  Tony cleaned up her phone while we were there and then we came home to grab a bite for breakfast. 

Then Tony and I went out to put the garden bed in

 place in the garden. 

It looks nice and will be fine there. I wanted it on the other side so it would have sun all day but because of the sprinkler being under it, I had to settle for the left side.  It looks like we have pest problems but it was where I dug up weeds yesterday. lol Tony said I could go inside and work on my ice-cream buckets for the caramel popcorn.

My cherry tree is opening up a little more and looking more pink. I'm so afraid they will open up completely, and the darn wind will blow all the blossoms away! It did that one year!

I went out later to check on Tony and he had it nearly filled. We didn't have to buy more dirt. He used what was in the garden and now we will get a little sand and soil aid for the garden.

I am struggling with the decor for the buckets. I tried taking off the writing on the buckets with acetone but it didn't work. Now I have to figure out something to cover all the crap I don't want showing. Its a work in progress. Hope I can figure something out, and soon!!

When Tony finished, we went to LOWES and he bought pavers to put all around the garden box and I bought two perennials for the two pots on the patio. I have perennials in the other four  and I want something that comes back every year so I don't have to keep replanting. I will be putting Begonias in the two pot that use to hold the fake trees but since we got rid of those, and it is a shaded area, Begonias it is!!  They are annuals but I love them so much, I will be content to plant them every spring. While we were at LOWES, it started snowing hard!! It was grapple but man it came down hard and fast and it was windy! I was freezing but it quit as soon after it started. We went to purchase it and Tony realizes he left his wallet at home so we had to leave it  there , come home and get his wallet and go back and pay for it. lol We both have a meeting at 5:15 and it was getting last so we stopped at TACO BELL and got the $5 dollar meal.  Since we were "SENIORS" they gave us a $1 off and Tony was elated! lol We went to our meeting and just got home. We are going to relax the rest of the evening.
