GENERAL CONFERENCE OVER FOR ANOTHER 6 MONTHS

Yet another day of wonderful inspired instruction. GC was so good! I loved President Nelson's talk on being kind and not letting yourself say or do unkind things "NO MATTER WHAT"! He talked about a doctor he worked with when he was young and the doctor lost his temper and threw a scapple (that had been used and was covered with germs) and it landed in Presidents arm. He said after that incident,  he vowed that he would never let his temper get the better of him. Then he told us to do the same.  

It was a great message and I need to strive to live it! If everyone lived this way, we would be in a much kinder and more tolerant world where peace and love abound.

All the speakers and music were so good. I love Conference weekend! After the 1st session, we went to Joyce's house to have a brunch of waffles, bacon and eggs.

I brought my waffle iron over so we could make two at a time. I did the waffles while Joyce fried the eggs and bacon. Lynn came with a juice and grapes.

It was a good brunch!!  We all filled up!

YES!~ I was there! lol

It rained for a bit while we were eating! 

After we ate, we came back across the street to our house to watch the last session. The sky was dropping some grapple when we came home but the sky's are clear again! 

The 2nd session was awesome! President Nelson was the last speaker and AGAIN, he announced 15 more temples to be build! In the past 5 years since he has been our Prophet, he has announced 133 temples!  WOW!~ When they are completed we will have 315 temples! That is so wonderful! However, there will probably be more announced before they are all completed! It will soon be possible for everyone around the world to have the blessings of the Temple. We are so blessed! Such a great weekend!
