MONDAY, MONDAY!~ there's a song in there somewhere! lol

It was windy and cold this morning and I seriously wanted to stay in bed under the warm cozy blankets BUT the hubs got up and ready to go to the Rec Center so I reluctantly got my self outta bed. We got to the gym around 8am and started to walk. Today I did a little over 4 miles. I walked with Roan for a while and he and I had a great visit. Then I walked with Carl and Rena. Sometimes when I was alone I listened to last October's GC because I couldn't get this Aprils downloaded yet. Finally, Tony came whizzing by me so I asked if he would put it on my phone. He did and took off. Funny thing was, all it would say was "Saturday morning session, record your impressions", Saturday afternoon session, record your impressions".....and so on and so forth!! I got frustrated and went back to listening to last years October GC until I got someone to walk with.  When we got home, he updated my app and it worked just fine. So, tomorrow, I'll be able to start listening to the talks again. YAY!~  On the way home, Tony told me he signed up for the gym's walking club. I guess after you walk so many miles, you get a free tee shirt. I'm signing up tomorrow. He'll get his shirt long before I do but it will be a goal to work towards! 

I CAN DO IT!~ lol

 We got home and I checked out my flowers. I'm so glad the cold weather doesn't bother them. My daffodils are budding out! I have four nice bunches of them and they all have several buds on them! NOW, I just hope the buds will open up! 

I found a big hole dug in the Hyacinth planter so I filled it in! Those dang squirrels!! They eat the bulbs but mostly LOVE the tulips! I haven't been able to have tulips in my yard for years! Not long enough to develop more bulbs and come up the next year anyway! So frustrating! I love animals until they mess with my gardening!

After breakfast, Tony went out to fix our front yard light. It hasn't been working so he took it apart and figured out the problem. 

Water was getting inside from all the rain and the drain hole was plugged so it would short out the light. He cleaned it out and drilled another drain hole and got things all hooked back up. He said he was anticipating a harder fix so was glad it was so easy!  

I took the sheets off my bed and am washing them. I wrote a letter to my mom and got it in the mail.  I would love to start some yard work but it is seriously too cold right yet. Someone at the gym said Easter Sunday (in 6 days) is supposed to be in the 70's! I'll believe it when I see it! lol

Trying to finish up some cards I started last week. Still haven't perfected what I want.

Still have nine to finish and then put a white insert in all of them. I have some new cat dies I want to start on so have to get my bikes done before I do. The Ward fund raiser is coming up and I have 2 boxes of cards finished. Maybe I'll make a couple more. We'll see. I need to go buy more envelopes at Thorne's Printing so maybe not. lol

Got them all done except for putting the centers in. They are OK for the 1st one's I've made, but I think I can do better the next time I try this motorcycle stamp and die.

I had one sheet of this paper and I rather like this one. It will be a good one for Nathan or Blake or Livie! They all have motorcycles!

I went down to get my sheets in the dryer and wondered what Tony was up to. I went outside and he had decided to thatch the lawn today. Its so windy and cold, I took a couple of pictures and came back inside. lol I still have my jacket on that I wore to the gym. lol

He's a "get er done" type of guy. He is going to do Lynn and Joyce's as well but said he'd wait a day or so to do theirs.

Front lawn is done. Now, maybe it will start greening up!

After he finished raking up the dead grass, he mowed the lawn for the 1st time this year! It looks GREAT!~ He came in and I made us a taco salad for dinner. He has a practice with h the men's group who are singing this coming Sunday for Easter. I am going to sit back and enjoy the meeting. I'll start back to choir after Easter. I am going to make some cards while he's gone tonight. Maybe I'll do my nails. Hmmmm, BIG DECISION!
