Tony and I got up at 4:30 and got to the temple for out Saturday shift. It was such a nice day in the temple. (IT ALWAYS IS) We both enjoy serving so much. I was able to get one initiatory name done as they were testing our knowledge of the ordinance but then Patrons started to come in so we had to stop on my names and do theirs. It was great. I love to work in Initiatory!
When we were finished at 11m, we changed and I beat Tony out to the car. I walked to the end of the main sidewalk and got a picture of the beautiful flowers growing. This is always such a beautiful sight in the spring and summer. We came home and quickly changed our clothes and headed to the gym.
It was just a walking day. Tony got 4 miles in when I only got 3 but at least I was just finishing my 3 when he was ready to go so there's that! lol We came home and he took off to go to LOWES and get a new pad lock for the shed. The key broke off in the old one yesterday when he was getting something out of the shed. He was lucky that it was open before it broke or he may not have been able to get the tools to cut it off because they were in the shed! I stayed home and re-did my nails. They were starting to peel. When I was done, I warmed up beans and ham for dinner. We ate when he got back home and watched the last movie in the
PIRATES of THE CARIBEAN series.
While we were watching it, I got a text from Alivia in Utah. She said the flowers I gave her are loving their new home and coming up nicely. She said she likes to name things so she is calling them "VERNIE". lol They are Peonies that don't have a lot of petals and I had two bunches of them. She loves them so the last time she and her mom were here for Lynn's birthday, we dug one bunch up and set them home with her. So glad they are coming up!
It's been a great day. Tony and I just finished going through the last conference talks and picking out our favorites. The Elders and the Relief Society are meeting on Tuesday to pick talks for the next 6 months and we are all suppose to bring a list of the talks we liked best! SO HARD TO CHOOSE as they were all so good.
We finished out day watching a movie on PRIME. It was called
"ON A WING AND A PRAYER"
based on a true story! It was excellent and we recommend it to everyone! A Great way to end the day!
