SO MAD AT MYSELF!~

We got up early and were at the gym shortly after 8:00 am

 (that's early for me)

I don't know why but I have just felt out of energy the last few day! So rather than walk right away, I got on the elliptical and rode for 4 miles and then went up to the track. I finally saw Carol and walked with her till I hit 3 miles. Rena was having trouble with her hip so she didn't come today. I should have got 4 miles in walking today but like I said, I am just not feeling it lately. I'm wondering if all the work in my backyard berm area wore me out and I am not getting any younger so maybe it's taking me longer to recover. NOW, my husband on the other hand is going like a bat outta &^$#!! He walked his 4 miles and then did weights, we came home and we ate a scrambled egg and out he went and mowed our lawn and Joyce's and then spread the crab grass killer on both lawns.  

I made a pot of beans and ham with the ham bone I boiled a few days ago. Then I had three ripe bananas so decided to make banana muffins!! BAD IDEA!~

I got them all mixed up and put in the oven and was sitting in the living room going through my phone when it hit me...

DID I PUT BAKING POWDER IN THOSE MUFFINS?" 

NO!!!!

I forgot it, and they were not raising at all! I was so disgusted with myself. I took them out and had to toss them all! Grrrrr

It's Hell getting old!! Can't remember a simple thing like baking powder! Ticks me off! I decided to go outside to dig up what I thought were more Hyacinths and I was going to add them to the pot up front. As I was digging them, I decided they were lilies!! Otherwise, they would already be in bloom like the ones up front. SO, I put them back in the dirt and covered them again. Hope I didn't mess them up for this summer. I came in and got a text from my friend Denise. She wanted to know if I was going to the funeral of Jorjette's mother. Honestly, I'd forgot and it was in 15 minutes. I told her if she wanted me to go I would. But then she didn't respond so I called her. She said she'd decided to just go by and give her a card at her house. We visited for quite a while and then my doorbell rang. I had to get off the phone and went down stairs. It was my friend, Zella. She had a little time to kill before her hair appointment so she came by to visit. We did for about 1/2 hour and then she took off. I came up to my craft room to work on something I wouldn't mess up! lol I trust myself with paper!

I stamped several cat's and then colored the white heart red. Now, I've got to decide how I want to put them together. It's time for lunch though so will quit for now. 

Tony came in around 3:30 or 4 and we ate a bowl of beans and ham! Then we retired to the living room and watched another 

PIRATES OF THE CARIBEAN.

2nd to last. After it was over, we came up, showered and got ready for bed which is in  hour! Tony finished his puzzle while we watched the show. I have to go down and clean the kitchen and then we'll read. Then off to LaLa Land! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
