SUNDAY \ BEAUTIFUL DAY!

We had a wonderful Sunday. We've been stressing about things this week and one of them was our talks in Sacrament meeting today! lol

I had mine all prepared but put my ear buds in and sat on the bench on the front porch and listened to it a couple of times and watched the petals fall from my tree. The grass looks like it snowed a bit.

This is how we felt when I left for church. lol  I was prepared though so I just wanted to go and get it over with. Mine was kinda lengthy and I wanted to be sure and leave time for Tony. We get to church and for some reason, things were not prepared. A lot of people were out of town and we didn't get started till almost quarter to 2. Then it seemed like the chorister picked long songs!! Anyway, I finally got up to speak at 2 o'clock. We had a little less than half an hour so I probably went faster than I should have but I wanted to make sure Tony had enough time. I got a little emotional in mine at one point but Tony got very emotional in his. We did get a lot of compliments afterwards so I guess we did OK.

After the Sacrament meeting, it was our 5th Sunday and we had a young lady detective come and talk to us about fraud and scams, It was so interesting and she made us aware of a lot of garbage out there and how scammers are getting people's money! It was so good! After church, we ran over to the Slover's and gave Brother Slover the jacket and the envelope for his clothing. Then we hurried home and I made us a salad like the Market Fresh one at Chick Fil A. Tony loved it and so we are finishing up the fruit on another one tomorrow. Nikki will be with us so hope she likes it.

After dinner, we visited a bit and then went to Lynns.

Tammy and Chris and the kids came over to play games. Blake was there and played a while with us too. Chris won a raffle and won about 8 new games. He and the little kids played several in the kitchen.

The rest of us played in the dining room. It was fun!

About 8:30, we went in to watch Chris and the kids a while and then they finished up their game and we all left. Tony and I watched a episode of THE CHOSEN to wind down and now we are headed to bed. Sure hope we both sleep better tonight. It's been several days of not good sleep!
