MONDAY, YARD WORK , TUESDAY, TEMPLE & CRAFTING

Seems like Monday comes around often. lol I wanted to mow early as it has been so hot lately. We got up and went right outside. I got the front mowed as Tony dug weeds and then edged.

Took some pictures of my potted plants before I started mowing the back yard. The Tiger lilies are blooming good now.
The African daisy from Isabel is getting big. However, something (maybe a squirrel) broke one of the stems which I wasn't happy about. Grrrrr,  The yard looked pretty good when Tony and I finished. I met our new neighbor who moved into Aunt Joyce's home. Her name is Sidney but she just wants to be called Sid. They seem to be about our age. We'll have to have them over for dinner and games with the Jarretts. Nice people.
Once we finished, we went to the gym to walk. Got there about 9 so it was still fairly early. When I got home, Tony sat down to watch some WALKER, TEXAS RANGER. I decided to go upstairs and work on some cards for my entertainment. lol

I wanted to use up scraps, so I made these four and then I ran them through my embossing machine. I rather like them. Later in the day, I went down to relax and Tony turned on a show on ANGEL GUILD. We watched a British show called SEEKING PERSEPHONE. It was soooo good! I think it was 4 episodes and we watched them all.

A picture came up on my phone of me and my daughters at McCall when we had a family reunion there. I decided to AI it and make us models on a runway. They got the girls right on! I guess they got me right too. lol  I'm fat!!

So then I told it to make me skinny and now I'm thinner than Traci!!  IF ONLY!! lol
Traci said I'm giving the app way too much attention. I know I am but it's so much fun. I can't quit. I never looked so good!

I made one more card before going to bed.
Tuesday morning, we picked up Lynn and went to the temple. We did one endowment and then we did an hour of sealings. We left at 1:30, dropped Lynn off and then went home to change.  Kevin and Jan Poulson picked us up at 3 to go to dinner and a movie. We went to SMOKEY MOUNTAIN PIZZA  to eat and visit. Then we went to the movie, YOUNG WASHINGTON. Yeah, we'd already seen it but they hadn't and we were game to see it a 2nd time. It's that good!

So when we got home, I had to make Tony and I as Colonials.  lol
When I finished, it said they could put us at a dance.

So, I said "Go for it!" lol  This is the only dancing Tony and I do.  We had a fun evening with our friends  and look forward to doing it again.
Wednesday, (today) we got up and picked up Lynn and went to the gym.  We had the discussion about her keys to her car...AGAIN!  She just doesn't understand why we won't let her drive.  It gets so frustrating because she doesn't remember getting lost, or getting in accidents. She just gets angry with us and tries to put us on a guilt trip by saying she could die if she gets ill and can't take herself to the ER. We've told her over and over that if we weren't around she could call 911 and we've also made her a list of people in the ward she could call but nothing satisfies her. We took her to the eye doctor to get her lenses put in the new frames, she ordered and then took her home. I'm doing laundry and making more cards.

Tony finished his puzzle that Colby and Cindy gave him for his birthday.  It's pretty cool.

I cut up more scraps and worked on cards while doing laundry.

I got another four done and some more scraps gone.
Now, it's time to make lunch and fold clothes. It's a good day!
