We went to the gym and got a few things we needed for our trip to McCall this weekend. On our way home, I noticed the graffiti on Patricks fence. I mentioned it to Tony and he said he'd better go check our fence. We hadn't even looked at ours as we passed by.
Patrick's fence is old and it didn't show up near as bad as it did on ours! None the less, it is infuriating!!
It stood out like a sore thumb on our fence because Tony just replaced it this spring and early summer. He is going to replace the dark fence behind the shed but was waiting till the weather cools off. He called the Police and they told us that there are two gangs here (the North gang and the South gang) The blue indicates it is the South as the North use red. He asked if we wanted to press charges? How in the world do you press charges if you don't know exactly who did it. Tony said if he knew who it was, he'd like them to buy new boards but that'll never happen. He went to Home Depot to see if there was a paint to cover it that would match the wood. Then he decided to just paint over it with gray spray paint he had. It's the 3rd time this has happened and probably won't be the last, so he decided since it faces the canal, he doesn't care what color he uses.
We won't see it from the house so it is what it is. The police officer did come over and Patrick got home from work. The 4 of them were outside discussing it and Tony said Patrick was using all kinds of caustic language and Shawn was trying to calm him down so he didn't get himself in trouble with the police. He has cameras' on his house but unfortunately, it didn't pick them up. Patrick painted over his with brown paint and ours is done with gray.
Shawn hasn't done anything with his yet.
Made a broccoli and cauliflower soup and shared it with Tony's family when they got to town.
Looking forward to our trip to McCall.
