COOKIES AND EXCHANGES AND SILVER SISTERS

I get a little overwhelmed somedays with everything we have going.  House, family, exercise, church callings, temple and such.

And then I remember that He has me and will help me to accomplish all I need to do.  I love this! After our yard work last week, Tony had a Priesthood meeting in the evening.  I took a shower and curled my hair with sponge rollers. I'm trying to not use the hot curling iron as much. My hair needs a break. Trying to get it healthier.
Thursday and Friday were slower than usual for us. We went to the gym both days. Did some grocery shopping, laundry, cleaned house and then I started cleaning out things I am trying to get rid of. I have sold quite a few Halloween things on MarketPlace  and I will start doing the same with Christmas again when the time comes.

Friday night, I worked on some scrap paper and cut it into various shapes and glued things together. Then to bed we went. Saturday morning, I sent Pat a text to see if she wanted to go to the gym. She said she was going shopping with her daughter and granddaughter, so Tony and I went alone. I planned on walking one mile and then riding the elliptical the remainder of the time. However, Carol came along and I walked with her a two laps and then she said she was done. I had one and a half laps to complete my mile. Then Vickey, the mother of a gal in my ward, started walking with me. We had such a great conversation going, that I just continued walking with her. She walks so fast and I was out of breath and flushed when we finished. lol It was a good workout.  We went to Costco and picked up a prescription and came home and made lunch. Then I mixed up some waffles for Sunday's dinner. We watched a movie and went to bed. Tony had an early morning meeting and then came home and picked me up for church. It was a great day at church. I love Primary so much. The kids are so fun. Hilarious, really!!
After church, we came home and I made sausages and waffles for our dinner. I have enough batter for a few more breakfasts.  We had a relaxing rest of the day. I had two women show up and they bought more of my Halloween things. A bit more to go but not much.
This morning, we got up at 6:30 and took the car to the Ford dealer. They are fixing our trunk latch. It opens sometimes and doesn't at others. It will be nice to have it done. We met Pat at the gym and we walked. She was so upset with her daughter and granddaughter because they didn't take her shopping on Saturday after all. We came home after walking, and ate waffles if you can believe that. lol

Then I made cookies for tomorrow nights Relief Society activity and then I filled two big boxes with clothes, shoes and dishes I don't want. We are having an activity where we are bringing things we don't want to exchange with sister's who might want them and what doesn't get taken will get taken to a place that will use them for the needy. Then I did two loads of laundry and worked on some cards.

I put three cards together using some of the things I have been making with the scraps and some two new embossing folders. Then I made us a bagel, cream cheese, lettuce and ham sandwich for lunch.  I am going to rest and watch a movie with Tony.  Tomorrow, Pat and I will go to Silver Sisters. It will be fun. She enjoys them so much.
GOD IS GOOD!~
