Pat bought me and herself, matching sweatshirts. We wore them on Friday. Mine was too big and I need to shorten the sleeves. But it was so kind of her and we had fun matching as we walked our 4 miles.
I had signed up to make cornbread muffins for our Ward Trunk or Treat. I hurried home and made the ones on the right before Joe brought Evie over. LOL The ones on the left were done after I got her. I got so busy with her and left them in the oven too long.
Joe dropped off Evie a little after 10 am. He brought pumpkin/chocolate chip muffins for her and she ate a whole one.
She played in the living room and I had to clear the tops of every end table in the room as she would throw everything she could reach onto the floor. She is active!!
Tony rigged up a stick system to keep her out of the entertainment center. She likes all the knobs on the receivers etc.
I loved this picture of her in the garbage can. I sent it to Joe and he sent it to Ellie (who was at work) and they loved it. I also sent them a video of her on our foot vibrator. It was so hilarious. I laid her down for a nap at 2 in the afternoon but she wasn't having it. She didn't cry but she kept making noise, letting me know she WAS NOT going to sleep. So Joe came and picked her up at 3 and I'm sure she was asleep before her got out of the driveway! lol
We went to the Ward party at 5:30 so Tony could help set up tables and chairs with some other brethren. The dinner was at 6. The kids started showing up. The Preece's little grandson was the 1st to show up. His parents and grandparents used to be in our ward, but moved. They came back for the party. Fun to see them.
Zoey and Lauren ( from our Primary)
The Bishops wife (Heather) and her new baby.
Sister Johnson and her baby. He was dressed as an owl. They are new in our ward.
Jenni used to be our RS President . She and her family came back for the party. So good to see her. Great hippie!!
The little kids were having a blast running and playing before dinner.
Hyrum Stukki was Grogu. So cute!
Sister Koudelka came as a piƱata. She had a plastic bat and she was going to have the kids hit her with the bat and then she'd throw candy. lol
Chabuka and Stan Bishop and her daughter Daniella came as "Tangled" They looked so good!
Shanny was a skeleton/ghost! lol
Brother Law made a great COWBOY IN BLACK!
His daughter Maureen (known as Mo) was all dressed up with her children. She used to be one of my Young Women when I was the Young Women's President. She said, (to her kids) "This is Sister Norton, I love her!!" That made me feel so good!
This is Leo Taylor. He is new in our ward and he has 2 other brothers in our Primary, as well as a little baby brother. Awesome boys!
We ate chili and other soups and cornbread before the Trunk or Treating began.
Sydney Poulson and her fiance. She is such a wonderful girl. She is going to be a lawyer. Smart as she can be!!
Shelly Lamb was all dressed up. Not sure who she was but supposed to be but she had a cauldron. lol
We went outside and started the activities outdoors.
It got dark quickly, and there were several families there who were from around the neighborhood close to the church. It was great to have so many people there and I was so many people who had their trunks ready to go. Since our trunk won't open, I sat with Shelly Hughes at her car.
Feliz and his brother were Men In Black.
The new family, The Johnson's. They had the car right next to us and wanted me to take a picture of them.
Your guess is as good as mine. lol
The Stukki baby.
Grogu (Hyrum) and one of his sisters.
Brother Davis and his two children.
Sophi
Sophi (also new in our ward) and she and little Lauren have become "BESTIES"
Brittany (my dental hygienist) and also sister to Sydney Poulson. Brittany has lost a lot of weight and attributes it to GLP1. I've got to talk to her about it. She looks great! She is with Oliver and his daddy who is married to Gentry who is a twin to Sydney!! Too much TMI.
It was a great busy day!
GOD IS GOOD!~
