SAT. & SUNDAY OF A WONDERFUL VACATION!

Saturday morning, Tony and I got up and loaded the truck and were on the road shortly after 8am. We drove to Manti so I could see the temple there.  It was beautiful. Just like a Fairy land Castle! It was raining and cold so we quickly walked the grounds, took some pictures and got back on the road again.

We called Derek and Rachel when we were a couple of hours from their home and had to leave a message. It was funny cuz we still hadn't heard from them so we figured they were not home so we wouldn't stop. Well, we just passed the exit to their place and Derek called and said his phone had been charging. We decided to get some lunch at a Chuck A Rama and then we turned around and went back for a visit. It was fun playing with the kids and getting an update on things.

We stopped at Thanksgiving Point for a bit and then to Costco to gas up before getting to Heather & Jon's. It was 8PM by the time we got there so visited a short while and then went to bed. Sunday morning we got up and went to Sacrament with them.  Jon had to speak and he did a GREAT JOB.  We left after Sacrament and Heather fixed us a delicious tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich before we headed out. (The soup was homemade and so yummy)

My baby and her boys! Little Sawyer is so chunky! My back got a workout just picking him up!  lol He is so sweet and I get the biggest kick out of Rowan. He came in to wake us up in the morning and he imitates my laugh. Tony and I were laughing so hard because he was right on and it made it even funnier!

Evidently Sawyer takes after his grandma!  lol  It was so fun to see the kids (both families) We appreciate Heather and Jon giving up their bed to us and for the good meals.  It was a wonderful vacation and Tony and I had a great time. It was so nice to have some alone time together and to do and see  a lot of fun and beautiful and sacred places !  Now to get back to the normal everyday living.
