INFUSION DAY!~

Got up this morning at 7:30 to get ready to go to the hospital for my 3rd infusion of Rituxan. I showed up at 9 and waited only a short time. I was brought back, weighed and taken back to the infusion room.

The nurse who took me back said he'd give me the best room. It was clear at the back and it had a window so the light was perfect for reading! YAY!~ I loved it!

He brought me a blanket, which I needed right at the 1st because after coming in from outside, it did feel cool. Another nurse came in and said she remembered me from the infusions I got in January. They are so nice. She got me set up with the port for the infusion (1st picture)  and then ordered it.  It takes about 1/2 hour to arrive.

Shortly after 10 am  I was all hooked up and ready to go! 
A SLOW DRIP DRIP DRIP! 
I got quite a bit of reading down in the next 4 hours. I heard an interesting conversation between the head nurse (a really nice gal) and a nasty man on the other end of the line. Evidently, he'd been nasty on other phone calls and i
