UP EARLY AND AT IT AGAIN!~

I got up at 6am this morning and drove myself to St. Luke's for an abdominal x-ray that was scheduled. I think it's for Dr. Morris who is my urologist and I see next month.  I'm sure he's checking for kidney stones. I was on the way home by 7:30 or so and Tony was up and ready to start on the yards. I had already eaten a few shredded wheat cereal and had a glass of milk so I could take my vitamins .
I was ready to start on OUR lawn. He went to Joyce's yard.
I got the front yard mowed and I cut back the dries stem's from the Daffodils and pulled some weeds. When I got to the back yard, I decided to fee my Begonia's with some Miracle Grow to see if I can get some more blooms. Will know in a few days. lol I then mowed the back yard and then got into the garden!

I picked 2 zucchini's and a lot of tomatoes. Some aren't quite ripe enough but they will redden up here in the house. Now, I've got to get some recipe's to use them in. ANY IDEAS?  lol

The squash plant looked sick and at 1st I thought it wasn't getting watered properly. However, Tony checked the zones and they are working fine. We looked a little closer and discovered a bug of some kind is laying eggs on the leaves.

Tony cut back the plant a lot. He was taking off the leaves that were all brown and shriveled up. Now you can see through the plant and see my acorn's that are coming on!

I hope that will take care of it. Guess we'll see on that too!
Tony got back from Lynn's and said she had taken herself to the ER this morning because her tongue swelled up. She was afraid if it got worse, she wouldn't be able to breathe. I'm wondering if it was the shrimp we ate yesterday??  She wondered the same thing. She is supposed to get checked by Dr. Hirning (our doctor...I will be seeing her as well because Dr. Hansen is retiring)  and hopefully she will recommend an allergy doctor to her.
We decided to relax before going to the rec center so were watching a western movie. I got a call from my friend Robin. She is single and she was very down. She asked if I was busy and could I come sit with her for a while. I told her I'd be right over, so Tony turned off the movie and I left. I stayed for 2 hours and we just visited and she showed me her furniture she'd redone. She just needed someone to talk to and I'm glad I was able to help her get out of her funk. After a couple of hours, Tony called me to see if we could go to the gym. She said she was happy I'd come over and she was feeling much better. I learned more about her and her life. It was a good visit.
Well, we are off to the rec center now to do our laps. Yiipee!

It was busy as there are always a lot of children there since schools out. It's good to see them playing physical games instead of being on a phone or screen of one kind or another.
We did our 4 miles and then went to HAPPY TERIYAKI and got a rice bowl for dinner. We came home and finished our cowboy movie and then went up to shower & get ready for bed. I'll be in the hospital getting my infusion for 6 hours tomorrow so needed to clean up so I can be half presentable. lol
