MONDAY, GETTING THINGS DONE!~ AND 3rd BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

We got up this morning and I started my laundry. Then Tony and I picked up Lynn and went to the gym.

Lynn went to the weight room and I saw her on one of the machines, while we walked. After 11 laps for me, I went down to the elliptical while Tony continued to walk. I got in 7 1/2 miles on the elliptical so after walking a little over two and then riding, I did OK! Mary came in and I got the cards out of my locker and she paid me. So glad to have that done. We took Lynn home and then I had Tony drop me off at Robin's house. Then he went to physical therapy. so I could visit her before I leave town for a while. She was really hurting with her sciatica so she laid on the floor and I pulled her legs (one at a time)  She was almost in tears. I feel so bad for her but I don't know how else I can help. 

She has been feeding this little feral cat and he has finally started to come into  her house to eat . He also sleeps on her bed so she's getting him trained. He's not such a scaredy cat anymore.  He was sure checking me out!! It was funny. I stayed and visited about an hour and a half and then Tony picked me up and took me home. Then he took off to get his PSA test done. I did laundry. I worked on my Relief Society things that I have to get done before we leave Wednesday. Like get a teacher for the 22nd, get my message written for the RS newsletter, and get my suitcase packed. I'm not done but I have a good start on it.

If we didn't go today, I was going to lose it so.....we did!~

We both got the salmon and a baked sweet potato. I got Cesar salad and he got a cob.

I got the half side of ribs (free) and I will let Tony have it tomorrow for his dinner because I am going to Silver Sweethearts Luncheon. (aren't I nice!) lol When we got home, we went over to Joyce's because all the siblings got together. 

Ada and Mel were there. Ada has been ill with a heart problem and then she fell and got a HUGE hematoma on her leg. She was not able to work our shift at the temple for a long time. Last Saturday was her 1st day back. It was wonderful to see her. Her husband Mel invited us out to get walnuts soon.

The four siblings. Joyce is the oldest, then Lynn, then Ada, then Jeff. Joyce had a heart attack a couple of months ago and then Jeff had a brain bleed. He was in the hospital a month. He is doing well. For a while, they didn't think he would make it.

Ada brought Apple cobbler and I brought over the peanut butter rice Krispie treats that Jan Poulsen made me for my birthday.  We ate after visiting and then we all dispersed and went home. After I got home, I saw a message on Face Book from a friend in the ward. She said she had a lot of Lula Rue clothes she was getting rid of and a bunch of purses. She asked if anyone was interested. I told her I was and she asked if I could come over. I did!!  Man, I SCORED!!  I got several dresses, skirts, tops and coverup (jacket types) I was thrilled!! Then I looked at her purses. They are MICHE brand!! They are the purses that have covers for them so one purse can have many looks! I got 3 different styles and several coverups for them. After I left her house, I ran to give Jenel her birthday card and purse. 

Then I came home and washed all the new clothes and hung them up. I've still got to try it all on and see what I want to keep. We watched the 1st new season of THE VOICE!  It was soooo good!  I love Nial Horan!  What a cutie!!  The show is so entertaining. We love it. Time for bed. We stayed up way to long!!
