HEADED FOR ASTORIA

Tony and I worked our shift at the temple on Saturday and then went home, changed, loaded the car, and took off for Kennewick. We stayed the night with Curtis and Deedra and family before heading on to Astoria to take care of Mom till the 20th.  We got to Kennewick around 4. Curtis was smoking a ham and also funeral potatoes. He was also putting tile in the master bathroom. Deedra gave us a tour of their new home and yard and showed us all the things they have done to the house. It is looking GREAT!~  They have done a lot!

Dinner was DELICIOUS!!  Curtis did a great job!!

After dinner, Curtis & Deedra drove us around to check out Kennewick. They have a cool lighthouse!!

We got a picture in front of an awesome bridge!!

It reminded Tony and I of the bridge we saw in Boston!
 It's so awesome!!

Me & My Man!!

Curtis drove us to see the Columbia River Temple in Richland. It's small but beautiful! It looks like it has a halo around it!! We'll have to get over here again so we can attend it with them!

After that he drove us to see his office building and then we hit Baskin Robbins for ICE-CREAM!

It was so good!!  We then drove back to Kennewick and checked out the neighborhood homes. It's a nice city!  We watched the pictures that Deedra took of Jack's Band Competition and visited for a while and then went to bed. Tony and I were tired as we'd been up since 4:30 am so we both slept super good!

We slept in till 9 and when we got up Deedra had made muffins and sausages and orange juice for breakfast. It was so tasty. We loaded up our bags and said our goodbyes. The little girls said "Wait"  they wanted to show me something. They rushed downstairs and came up with some stuffed animals. I got a picture of them with mommy and off we went.

It was fun to have you here even if it was a short visit!
