After having a miserable night on Thursday, Friday I was feeling much better. Still a little sore but so much better than Thursday. Mom was tired on Friday but we were waiting for Ben & Charcie and the kids to come down and do a little Christmas program. Mom didn't want to go to her bedroom. I think she thought she'd miss it.
So, she laid in a different recliner and fell asleep.
Charcie came down and put up the sheet that she painted as a backdrop a few years ago .
SO COOL!~
The kids were adorable!
Elizabeth was the Angel! Kate was Mary!
Little Diana was a shepherd.
Charcie made the program pretty short. Gabe was Joseph.
Elizabeth (the Angel) coming to the Shepherd.
Gideon was the Wise man!
He was looking at the star.
The manger scene!
We sang a song after each scene.
The kids are so adorable and we sure enjoyed the program.
I couldn't get enough pictures of these cuties!!
Gideon looks so much like his Grandpa Rick did
when he was a little tike!
After the Program, the little ones said goodbye to
Great Gramma Berezay! Diana giving her a hug!
Kate giving her a hug!
Elizabeth giving her a lovely smile and a hug! I was bawling my head off during the whole program and when the littles said goodbye, I really lost it!
Gideon hugging Gramma!
I tried twice to get his face but didn't quite get it!
Gabe was sick and not feeling well but he hugged Gramma and the kids were just so sweet to do the program for us! It seriously
made my Christmas!
After the kids went upstairs, Ben and Tony gave Mom a Priesthood blessing. It was beautiful. Charcie recorded it and printed it off for mom.
Ben is so good with mom and she loves for him
to kneel and talk to her.
We decided to have Mom open her gift from us before
we took her to Portland!
She said, "Did you make this card"?
Then I got a picture with it!
We gave her a nice soft sweater. She said she would wear it to Portland when we took her to her new home. However, when I put her to bed, she took off her pink sweater she was wearing and said, I'm just gonna wear this tomorrow. lol
Holly gave her some nice warm vibrating boots but she has a toenail on her big toe that is so twisted and thick and the boots hurt her toe. She didn't want them. Then she got 5 packages of shortbread cookies that she really loves, a pair of pajama's and a light blue fuzzy sweater. I had to call Holly about the boots, and told her I'd leave them at Ricks and she can pick them up when she comes over. Holly said Will would want them and probably wear them to school. lol We turned in early so we could be ready to leave by 9am.
