MONDAY MINISTERING!~

Had a decent nights sleep last night (except for having to get up 3 times to use the bathroom) lol When we got up, we ate a bowl of cereal and off we went to the gym. It was our longer day which is walk, elliptical and weights. When I was on the elliptical, I look over and see several kids standing with their backs to me. It was weird because the 1st thing that comes to my mind is how the boys reminded me of  clean cut missionaries. Then as I was pumping, a few of them turn around and I see Missionary tags on their shirts!!  WOW!!  So cool! There were six Elders and four Sisters! I was happy that so many of the Pickleball players were taking turns visiting with them. It all looked very pleasant!  I finished and went to do my weights. When I finished I walked back through and some were on the court to play pickleball!

You can see several of them on the right hand of the picture!

Then there was an Elder and a Sister playing.

That was pretty cool to see! It's not everyday you see 10 Missionaries on the Pickleball court!!  When we finished, we came home and I got my laundry started.  Tony went to his Mom's to help her with some questions she had.

I got some cookies out to thaw so I could bring them to Robin when Peggy and I went to do our Ministering. I had plans to go see Carol Ross 1st because she just had shoulder surgery (a week ago) and so I mixed up a loaf of Artisan bread last night.

I got it laid out and formed on the parchment paper and got  the oven heating up with my Dutch oven heating up inside.

Then I got it baked before baking the cookies.  I left the cookies to cool while I took the bread to Carol's. I wanted her to have it while it was still warm. I visited with her for an hour and then I ran home and boxed up the cookies for Robin. I then went to pick up Peggy and we headed over. We stayed with her an hour as well and then I took Peggy home. I came home and warmed up some Pork roast, potatoes and cauliflower for a quick dinner for Tony and me.

At 5PM this evening, Jan Hargrave, from the Stake, came over to pick up fabric. I saw her yesterday after church and she was asking Jenni if we had any fabric for our Saturday Feb. 10th quilting day in honor of Sister Waldal. She used to be the Stake Relief Society President and she passed in December. We are making quilts to donate in her honor. I am not able to go to the activity because I work at the temple on Saturday mornings so I told Jan I had fabric I would donate. She sent me a text after she got home  and it said....
"It's just starting to really sink in what your donation really means- WOW!!~ This is amazing!!"

That made me feel good!!  Now, I'm working on some GNOMES for cards and watching TV while Tony is working on our taxes. I also got a card sent to my mom today so I feel like I had a successful day!!  lol That's always nice!
