MY POOR FRIEND!~

Tony and I headed to the gym as soon as we got up. Got a lot to do today and so wanted to get our exercise done asap! I was walking by myself and did 5 laps and then Rena came up and she and I were walking together. My friend, Linda went by and we said hi and wished each other a MERRY CHRISTMAS and on she went. She is faster than us. I walk pretty slow when I'm with Rena because her hip is so bad. She finally got a surgery scheduled but it's not till May so she has a while to wait.  We were on our last lap together and were rounding a corner when I heard a loud crash behind us. I told Rena that someone must have fallen. I was wanting to turn around and go back but Rena had poor hearing and kept on going....so I did too. We said goodbye at the end of this lap and I continued going. I see Tony go rushing by me carrying some paper towels. As I caught up to him, there were 2 gym workers and Tony around a person who had fallen. It was my friend, Linda! There was blood ALL OVER THE FLOOR!! A lot of blood!!  She was holding a towel up to her face and her nose was bleeding badly! Evidently, she broke it in the fall. I was asked to go get a towel and wet it. I hurried back to the fountain and wet some towels and took it to her. They were getting her into a wheelchair and someone had gone to call her husband. They told her she needed to go to the hospital and get checked out. 

They waited at the front for her husband. 

He pulled up front and they helped get her in the car. I felt so bad for her. She was in pain . I doubt we'll be seeing her for a while.  

They had put up some signs to keep people from walking where it was wet. We finished our walking and did our weights. Then we went to COSTCO to get some gas and take back the peanut butter we just bought. It goes on sale the day after Christmas so we'll buy it then! $3 dollars is $3 dollars!! We then went to WINCO and I got the last things I needed for Christmas dinner. I helped Tony put things away when we got home and then I went to take care of the cat!

I'm "Kitty sitting" while the Jarrett's are in California. I cleaned her litter box, checked her food and water and gave her a couple of treats. She loves to be petted and so we played a bit. Then I returned a dish to Joyce and she gave me an Amarillas to take home and tend until she gets home from Ashton. It will be a week. For some reason, the one she got from Heidi, needs to be watered. Then Tony and I got busy cleaning the house. He vacuumed the entire house and I swept and mopped the floors, did 3 batches of laundry, dusted and cleaned toilets and mirrors. Now, just the meal to fix on Wednesday morning. I think we'll get pizza for tomorrow night when we go to Tammy's for Christmas Eve.   

Tony moved his puzzle table so we can get to the tree on Christmas day! lol I was so happy! I can see it clearly now!!

I love my new tree. It changes colors and I can see it so well now!!
