SATURDAY, SUNDAY & MONDAY

Saturday, we got up early and went to the temple to serve.  It was another cold morning but so warm and comfy inside.

The lights and the snow are mesmerizing.  Tony had such a spiritual experience on Saturday as he was working in the baptistry. It brought him to tears as he told us, at dinner what happened. 

We went to Lynn's for dinner. Jess & Diane were in town and Lynn had planned for her brother Jeff and her other sister Ada, to come with their spouses. However both couples opted to stay home because of the weather. So Tammy and Chris and 3 of the kids came.

It was a nice dinner and a fun evening, playing games.

Sunday, after church, we went to Aunt Joyce's for dinner. She made waffles, bacon and eggs. It's her specialty and it was so good. 

Tony and I had to go home at 3 o'clock because Tony had some ministering interviews (at the house) and a meeting at 4. I did some phone calls myself and then I read.

Our book for March in the book club is 

THE BERRY PICKERS. 

I have to get it finished because it's due back in 2 days!!  We just relaxed and watched TV the rest of the evening. I slept so much better on Sunday night than I had the previous two nights. HALLELUJAH!!

Monday morning, we got up and went to the gym early!! My friend Pat had a dentist appointment so, while I walked alone.... I listened to the new hymns that were just added to the church app. After 2 miles I went to the elliptical and rode 3 miles. Then my friend Rena came up and I walked a mile with her. While she and I walked, Pat came and I walked a bit with her too.  Ended up walking four miles. Never made it to the weights today. lol

After the gym, we drove to CASCADIA OF NAMPA, to visit my friend, Klynn. It's a rehab facility. She just had a foot surgery and it was a massive operation. She thought she would be home the day after her surgery but ended up a few days in the hospital and now she'll be in the rehab for 2 weeks. It was good to see her and visit. She's a great lady!! After our visit, we came home and cleaned up and then picked up Joyce. We 1st ran to DI and I found a couple of books I wanted and we dropped off some things I didn't want anymore. (I'm trying to downsize, really I am)

We then went to Lynn's because Debbie Greenway brought her new husband over to meet the family. Debbie is Uncle Jack's widow. (Jack is Art's brother) She and Alan have been married 2 years now.

I got pictures of everyone before they left. 

We all had a wonderful visit and it was nice to finally meet Alan. He's such a nice guy. After they left, we ate leftover's and sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Diane and Debbie (her twin who called on the phone) It's their birthday TODAY!!  After we ate, Tony and I went to Walmart to find a movie (The Identical)  because Debbie Greenway told us we had to see it cuz it's so good!! They didn't have it so we went home and looked through our movies and brought back several and we all picked

 THE NEWS OF THE WORLD"

and we relaxed the rest of the night watching a movie. After it was over, Tony and I brought Joyce home and we are watching 

THE VOICE. It's been a good few days!
