YAY!! It rained good last night!! We woke up to a cloudy wet day and I love it!! We got up at 6:30 and headed to the gym. I walked with Pat until 8:115 and then she left to go pick up one of her dogs and take her to get groomed. Tony was wise enough to put my earbuds in my bag. It's so hard to walk without someone to talk to. Luckily, Tony was wise enough to put my earbuds in my gym bag so I got them out and listened to 2 General Conference talks on my last 6 laps. I sure helped!!
We went to Walmart after working out to pick up an onion and some salad fixins. Then we went home and Tony took Lona to the airport. She's headed home to Florida. I got busy on making lunch. I made PAULA DEAN's CHICKEN CASSEROLE.
It was good and a saver. I'll make it again sometime. I also made some iscuts and a salad. I cut up a big bowl of peaches for dessert.
Dinner is served.
The Elder's came 1st. We visited for a few brief minutes and then Liz got here. We all sat down to eat after blessing the food. It must have been good because there was less than a quarter of the casserole left.
AND we had peaches and cream for dessert.
DELICIOUS!!
We went into the back room to watch a 20 minute video after lunch. Then back to the front room for a discussion.
Of course, I have to get my pictures after we are finished and before they all leave.
It was a fun afternoon.
They took off a little before two and then I took a dozen peaches to Robin and then to Ava & Lorraine Taylor. I visited for 40 minutes with Robin and then I had just a few minutes to see the Taylor sister's because Tony needed the car at 3. I hurried home and he took off for the chiropractor. I sat down to take a rest and I crocheted. I have a Relief Society meeting at 6 this evening and Tony has Priesthood interviews here at the house at 6. It's been a good day!
