MONDAY, CLOUDY & COOLER

We got up at 6:30 this morning and headed to the gym. We beat Pat, if you can believe that.  We walked and then came home and I peeled 4 peaches and we ate them with cream for breakfast. YUM, were they good and sweet!! 

I headed out to the yard to mow. It was very cloudy and we were supposed to see some rain at 11 possibly!  I got a lot of weeding done 1st. Those darn things are prolifick. 

The lawn had grown up pretty good. I was happy to see the brown spots in the back were greening up again.  BEFORE

It started to rain just as I finished up. Tony got home from his mother's soon after and since it was raining, he came in to eat lunch. We watched COME FOLLOW UP while we ate and then Tony went over to Joyce's to mow because the rain had stopped.

It was really a perfect day to do yard work because it was cooler than it has been in a while. STLL, we get thirsty so we were both drinking several bottles of water. Thought this was a funny meme. 

I went up to shower but Tony decided to wait because he and Yeti are going to Nyssa to pick up a washer & dryer for a lady in the ward. He wanted me to go along too so it wasn't awkward with her and 2 men.  We  drove over to the church and she showed up soon after.  She gave Tony the address and he asked her if she was going with us. she said, she had her dog with her and said he was a yapper so had to stay with him. ANYWAY,  I had Tony drop me off at the corner of Davis and Horton and I walked home. No sense in me going if she wasn't.  When I got home, I filled 3 bags with a dozen peaches each and took some to Patrick & Kaitlyn, Shawn & Suzette and Joyce. They are ripening up quick so we are sharing with the neighborhood. I also gave a dozen to Roma Davidson while I was mowing and she was out walking.  Now I'm home and working on more card embellishments. It's so fun to get rid of the cutouts I have had sitting around forever. Cards on the way!
