A GREAT WEEKEND

Saturday, Tony and I were asked to be Veil Coordinators at the temple. We told Lubov and she came over bright and early. We left the house at 4:45am and  had a wonderful day. The weather was so nice when we went inside. Cool and comfortable!

When we came out at 11am it had been raining and there was still a mist in the air. It smelled so fresh and was such a welcomed turn in the weather. I LOVE RAIN!~
Lubov wanted me to take pictures of her.

She loves to pose and I get the biggest kick out of her. I will miss her when she moves to spain in November when she retires.

She's a wonderful friend and a good woman.
We came home and waited for Stillman to call us. He and his family had come the evening before for the BSU game. They stayed with Lynn and Saturday, had gone to Melissa and Nate's new home. Michelle was taking pictures of Ellie and Joe's new baby girl. They were going to call us after Michelle was finished and we were going to lunch with them at TEXAS ROAD HOUSE.

Stillman called us a little after 2. We picked up Lynn and met them there. Donna (Michelle's mother) came as well and we had a wonderful dinner and visit.

The kids wanted to go home and be there for their Sunday activities. Besides, Jayden stayed home to be there for play practice for the new play he is in. AND, to sit with their new dog.
It was fun to see the kids.
We came home and Tony worked on a new puzzle. I worked on my die cutouts.
I spent a lot of time cutting out the die's What a mess I made on my carpet in front of my shair. BUT, I thoroughly enjoy playing with paper and glue and a sponge and ink.

I got a ton of the trucks done.....well maybe not a ton but I did fill a good size plastic sandwich bag full! These are just a few examples.
Later in the evening, I made thee cinnamon rolls for sunday's dinner, peeled my potatoes and got the pork roast braised and into the crock pot and turned it on just as we went to bed.
I woke up Sunday morning to a house full of the aroma of  roast pork. Mmmmmm, I couldn't wait for dinner. lol  We invited the new Sisters over for dinner as well as Liz and Lynn and Joyce. It was a delicious meal and fun to get to know the new Sister's.  After a good visit with all the ladies, we split up and they all went home to rest and get ready for the class we all signed up to take on Sunday evenings for the next 10 weeks.

At 5:35, we left to pick up Joyce 1st, then Lynn and then Liz. We were so happy to see so many at the class. It was held in the Relief Society room and we had a good 28 people in attendance. It is going to be a wonderful class. The class is to help us get closer to our Savior, Jesus Christ and to be able to rely on His strength to help us through all the troubles that come just because life is that way. We were all excited to participate and to help one another through the next 10 weeks. It's gonna be great!
