I'M POOPED BUT SATISFIED!~

It rained a little last night (very little) but the wind blew all night. It was a beautiful sunrise though. Pat, my friend lives out southeast of town and she took this picture this morning.

WOW!
It's gorgeous. She wakes up super early so she saw the sun come up.
After working at the gym, we came home, ate a quick breakfast and Tony hooked up his little trailer to the truck and took off to go get rock and ground cover for the garden area where we are going to put the new shed. I got started taking down and putting up my Christmas village. HOWEVER, I got some villages down from the closet in the back room, and then couldn't find the box with all my styrofoam pieces that I use to stage the villages so they aren't all on the same level. I went out to the garage and started bringing in Christmas totes to the back room. I was working out in the garage and Lubov pulls up in her car. She brought in 2 fruit tarts that she bought for Tony and me. She asked if I could warm up some milk for her and she wanted to share a piece of another tart she brought over. I told her I had just eaten breakfast but, she ate and drank the warm milk and we visited. After she left, I got back to work and then Tony came home. He helped me look through all kinds of totes in the garage. I decided to get rid of a lot of the stuff.....like Easter things.

I had a tote with all sorts of rabbits, and eggs. Door hangers and baskets. I decided I didn't want them anymore. I'm getting too old to decorate for every holiday and season. SO, we started loading the car with things I was cleaning out of the garage.

I loaded up all my boxes of wood pieces that I used to make crafts out of.  I'll never use them all. I got rid of purses, fabric, shoes, pillows, blankets and whatever I decided I'd never use again.  Funny thing was, I finally found the tote I was looking for above thee garage door. LOL, the last place we looked!! Tony and I then took a trip to Deseret Industries and got rid of the stuff.  Before we left, I had to admire my rabbit one last time.
I PAINTED THAT YEARS AGO.
It's pretty good if I do say so myself!!  lol  We were close to ARBY'S so we stopped in and ate a sandwich. The home again to get busy again. Now that I'd found the tote I was looking for, I was able to get to work on the CHRISTMAS village. I also put up all my wreathes, so I have some decorating done. YAY!~

I finally finished at 5:30 this evening so Tony and I sat down to relax and watch some more of  THE CHOSEN. We are both pooped! BUT, it's nice to have started and hope to be done by Friday with everything. Well, maybe not the tree but possibly.

I will definitely enjoy the tree when it's dark but in the meantime, I'm thoroughly enjoying my village!
